Personality[]

BFB[]

Eggy is quite kind toward outsiders and is very open when she is around people she can trust. She also seemingly values safety. She felt comfortable and safe when she was a baby egg (egg inside of an egg), and she wanted to glide through the competition without any danger. This trait is fitting as she is an egg, and eggs are known to be fragile.

She does however have her rude, assertive moments as she blamed Clock for ruining The Losers' winning streak and didn't feel the need to listen to Four's contest rules in "What Do You Think of Roleplay?".

TPOT[]

Eggy is shown to be pragmatic and independent in her decisions. Her critical nature is further emphasized when she points out that she and Cake barely do anything together in "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?," leading her to seek out new teammates. This shows that she is not just passively participating in the game but actively analyzing her situation and making decisions based on her assessments. Her actions are driven by logic and a clear understanding of what will benefit her the most in the competition.

Official Character Guide biography[]

Is Eggy hard-boiled or soft-boiled? No one knows. Obviously she is not scrambled or poached. She does crack easily, though, a fact that Book is all too eager to state. Despite this, Eggy is very confident, which also leads her to pick out flaws in others.

According to Eggy, in the past she never spoke and was much more content. Also, apparently she used to be in an egg. An egg inside of an egg if you will.

Did You Know?: If Eggy suspects that someone isn't paying attention to her, she'll test them by adding "blah blah blah" to her sentence.

Battle for BFDI[]

Eggy in BFB 1

Eggy in Battle for BFDI

Eggy made her first speaking appearance in "Getting Teardrop to Talk", where she tries to tell Teardrop a story, who responds by fluttering her arms, which Eggy views as a sign of disinterest. Lollipop says that she can relate, as she tried to sell Teardrop her Fork Repellent, but she "rejected" it using the same gesture. After Pillow's false "explanation" of arm fluttering, Eggy says that Teardrop is very hard to impress. Barf Bag tells the three that Teardrop probably did care, but as she can't speak, couldn't say it. Barf Bag's theory immediately gets rejected by Pillow and Lollipop, but Eggy tries to back Barf Bag up, saying that it "wasn't her fault" her brain was put in vomit. However, she flutters her arms, believing that the three don't take her seriously, making an enemy out of Eggy (on Barf Bag's side). She is later seen with future teammates Clock and Cake, begging Loser to let them be on the same team with him. They all get to join at once and form the team The Losers!. Eggy gets angry at Pin when she even suggests that they don't pay attention to Loser. Firey throws her at their basket, causing it to land on everyone except Eggy and Loser. Loser lifts it off of them and they celebrate, not noticing that Eggy is now trapped. Due to Clock's idea, launching a basket to X, The Losers! are safe.

In "Lick Your Way to Freedom", when Loser licked Gaty out of a jawbreaker, Eggy tried to look inside, but she couldn't see anything. Pin eventually tells her Loser freed Gaty.

In "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset", she is first seen criticizing Four and X as hosts, along with Pin and Cake. Pin says she'd almost prefer the old Announcer, which makes Eggy curious about the old BFDI, but before she can ask Pin anything, Four announces the next contest. After Cake sees iance using Fanny as a motor on their team's swing, he suggests using Clock as a motor for theirs. However, Clock's fastest clock hand moves at 1 RPM, saddening Eggy. However, Daylight Savings triggers Clock's fastest clock hand and The Losers! complete the 50 swings.

In "Today's Very Special Episode", her team quickly cobbles up a makeover of Four made from X put inside a paper mache statue, but despite that, her team barely avoids elimination. In the post-credits scene, she tells Teardrop the story about when she didn't speak. She says that when she was a baby (as she says, an "egg inside of an egg"), she realized she was content and had nothing to complain about, so she never spoke when she was young.

In "Four Goes Too Far", Eggy's first appearance in the episode is in the heart scene. She is seen later with Cake, getting the twinkle. Loser then covers his team in one of X's old baskets, sheltering them from the Twinkle for the entire challenge. She is later seen with Loser along with her teammates except Coiny and Pin. After Bell breaks through the basket, Clock contracts the twinkle, making his team lose. Eggy then says that she wanted to "glide" through the competition without danger, but Clock ruined it.

In "The Liar Ball You Don't Want", Barf Bag puts a popper on Eggy's head, causing it to fold over her eyes. At Cake at Stake, The Losers! sit next to Donut, but Donut says The Losers! don't have to sit so close. They promptly back away from him. Eggy and Loser end up in the bottom two. Donut tells Eggy that what she said in the last episode would effect her chances of staying. She refutes saying they should think about this. Eggy is then declared last safe with 4,759 votes, meaning that Loser is eliminated. Eggy gasps along with the rest of The Losers! and the recommended characters for this episode.

In "Questions Answered", she can be seen listening to Pin's inspiring speech and cheers when they win.

In "Get to the Top in 500 Steps", she gasps when Four announces that someone is rejoining, and it turns out to be Leafy who joins Eggy's team. She and Cake are hugged by Leafy as she is eager to make new pals. Eggy smiles when Needle wins for the team first.

Eggy after being too to pay attention

In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", Eggy is first seen playing tic-tac-toe with Leafy, when Four tells her to pay attention. Eggy asks him why, stating that The Losers! know each other well, and that her team will win easily. However, Four tells her the Losers are actually missing someone. Eggy tries to guess who is missing, but can't figure out who, not that she needs to worry; missing contestants are excused. Later, Eggy wins her first tic-tac-toe game against Leafy, who exclaims that Eggy has not won a single match in 72 games. That makes Leafy guess she's the fake, which is incorrect.

In "Return of the Rocket Ship", Eggy requests for their "potentially dead teammate" to be recovered, but Eggy still doesn't remember their name. Leafy then drags her away to compete. Later, Eggy is quick to stop Cake (who seems to adhere to Loser's "spirit") from going in the hole iance dug. Eggy claims that she has a "deep, spiritual connection to Loser" and says that he's telling her that they shouldn't go down the same hole that multiple teams just jumped into, since it would make them followers. Shortly after, she and Cake argue over whose connection with Loser is stronger. This argument was defused by Coiny and Pin before it could get out of hand.

Eggy has an extremely short cameo appearance in "Don't Dig Straight Down" when the screen pans to show iance's message to Golf Ball.

In "The Four is Lava", she is confirmed to have died in the last episode as she gets recovered by Four at Leafy's request. Leafy asks her if they are friends and she replies with a confused yes. However, after Firey reveals that Leafy stole Dream Island, she is in major shock and anger. She is later seen in the stinger with Firey and Needle, arguing about Leafy. She then asks Four to recover her dead teammates. She realizes that Clock had been missing from the team and attempts to lie about everyone really missing him in order to spare his feelings.

In "The Escape From Four", she walks up with everybody else to watch Four struggle at eliminating Spongy. She is also in the crowd of characters who try to save the Exitors from being sucked back into Four. After Two shows off a couple of his powers, Eggy immediately joins Two's show. She is now one of the 40 contestants who will be competing on TPOT.

Battle for BFB[]

In "X Marks the Spot", Eggy agrees that X is a better host since he's the kindest one they've seen when compared to Four, Two, and possibly the Announcer.

Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two[]

Eggy in TPOT 1

Eggy in Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two

In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", Eggy asks Clock who Winner is and he explains their history with Loser. Eggy claims that she prefers Loser's more recent work and Clock chooses to go with Winner. Cake exclaims that they can't split up since they're his friends, but Eggy tells him that they barely even do anything together and leaves to find new teammates. Basketball says that Eggy looks "kinda like a ball", which Eggy takes offense to until Basketball explains that she would love her on her team. Later, Eggy's team is the last to have seven team members and she seems uneasy about Snowball joining the team by default.

Afterwards, Eggy tells Two that they're done naming their teams, and that it may have been better if they had named the teams instead. Two then asks where the plant life is and Eggy tells them that it was all burnt by lava. During the challenge, when Bell fails to return back down to lift more of the team to the top of the building, Eggy takes notice of Winner throwing Yellow Face to the top. She thinks they should do the same thing, but this idea is dropped when Snowball throws Foldy and she gets carried off by the wind. Basketball then realizes they can take the elevator, but tells Eggy to keep an eye on Foldy, which she does. Foldy eventually gets back on the ground after being vomited on by Rocky. The two meet up with Snowball and Basketball at the elevator and start moving up. They are delayed by the elevator opening on a floor thanks to Marker, but still manage to be the last team safe. Eggy then kicks Two after everyone starts berating them for not explaining the rules clearly.

In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", Eggy and Foldy have nothing to do, due to them being armless and not being able to help stack blocks. When Basketball goes to fix Robot Flower, she puts Eggy in charge of watching everyone on the team. When Eraser comes and knocks their stack over, Eggy tells her teammates to continue stacking and that she'll take care of Eraser, but is stumped when she realized she cannot do anything to stop him. Later in the contest, she comes up with the idea to ruin the other teams' stacks of blocks. Snowball volunteers to do it, but she is disinterested in him, and chooses Bell to do it instead.

After seeing Black Hole accidentally kill Teardrop, she runs off without telling anyone, and recovers her. Winner then approaches, and says it was nice of her to recover Teardrop, surprising her and telling them they didn't see anything, before running back to her team. She arrives back at her team before the challenge is almost over, and after Basketball and Robot Flower come back. Basketball asks where she went, leading to Snowball and Foldy informing her that she just ran off without telling them why. She argues with Basketball, talking about how she just dumped her leadership responsibilities onto her without being fully prepared for it. Their argument is cut short for a moment when Bell slams into their teams' stack of blocks, knocking all of them over and causing Snowball to faceplant into the ground. She, Basketball, and Foldy continue to argue, all while Grassy continues to stack. When the challenge concludes, she reassures her team Teardrop didn't have any blocks on her podium either, and is confident they will be tied. She smiles triumphantly, before Two announces her team lost, and is bewildered to find out Teardrop's podium has a part of Team8's stack on it. Bell claims it is her fault, but Eggy reconciles and says they all could have done a lot better.

In "Getting Puffball To Think About Rollercoasters", Eggy tries to run away from the falling blocks, but slips on Barf Bag's barf and gets crushed to death. She's recovered after the intro. Eggy is in the bottom two in Cake at Stake with Foldy, but is safe with 5,977 votes. During the challenge, Eggy says that the last episode was a wake up call and that they need to work better as a team. Everyone decides to go with Snowball's idea to build an attraction to test Two's strength. Two ends up giving it a 7/10, making Eggy's team safe. After the credits, Yellow Face calls Eggy and Bell up to the stage where they must eat the glass-filled cheesecake. Marker then appears, telling them not to eat the cake or they'll die, and volunteers to eat it for them.

Eggy in TPOT 4

In "Gardening Zero", Eggy’s team has to protect their Funny Plant in the snowy tundra. To her annoyance, Snowball apparently peaked when he chose his team’s biome because he wanted to be in a snowy environment. The team’s first strategy is to have Bell produce sound waves. This works until Bell accidentally shakes her bracelet off and is sent away. Robot Flower suggests calling Bell back with Touch-Tone, but Eggy doesn’t think Bell would notice if they called her. The team’s next strategy is burning Grassy to keep their plant warm, but his bracelet also starts to burn. Eggy asks Snowball and Robot Flower if they have any backup plans if burning Grassy fails, but no one has any. Grassy’s bracelet eventually burns off, sending him away. The team still manages to be safe since their plant survived long enough before two other teams had theirs killed. In the stinger, their plant is completely frozen and snaps in two.

In "Fishes and Dishes", Eggy's team steals Are You Okay's robotic fish monster for the challenge. Later, Eggy mocks Basketball for her leadership skills and says she's been keeping their hostage in line. The team decides that they can use the robot to trick the Fish monster into showing them where the plates are. Robot Flower takes offense to this and sabotages the team by causing the robot to self destruct. Eggy's team sinks to the bottom of the canal, and the robot explodes when two of the breathable bubbles collide with the machine. Eggy's team is up for elimination since they didn't retrieve any plates back to Two.

In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", Eggy, along with Basketball, find themselves in the bottom two on their team, and Two remarks that a ball is about to be eliminated. Eggy quickly corrects Two, pointing out that she isn't a ball, so Two then retracts their statement and announces that Basketball is safe with 2,531 votes, compared to Eggy's 2,404 votes. Two levitates her into the air, giving her the opportunity to say one final sentence. Eggy is about to reveal whether the chicken or the egg came first, but before she can do so, Two interrupts, reminding her that she’s already used her one sentence before making Eggy vanish into thin air.

In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", Eggy has a cameo appearance where she is shown getting zapped by Pillow.

Trivia[]

Comparisons[]

Competition[]

  • Eggy is the only female contestant on The Losers! who is not one of the original 20 contestants.
  • Eggy, Cake, Clock, Pillow, and Taco are currently the only contestants who have competed on multiple teams but never with a former teammate.
  • With Eggy eliminated in "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", she is the lowest ranking member of The Losers! and is the lowest ranking recommended character on The Strongest Team on Earth.
  • Eggy is one of the four contestants who have never been able to avoid the bottom 2 in multiple Cake at Stakes. The others are David, Dora, and Pie.
  • Eggy, Naily, Clock, and Cloudy are the only contestants who've been eliminated with less than 3,000 votes to stay in a single episode.
  • Eggy is the first contestant to be eliminated in TPOT without having Two move in front of them.
  • Eggy, Clock, and Cake all followed the exact same pattern as competitors:
    • In BFB, they joined The Losers! and survived one elimination before quitting for TPOT.
    • In TPOT, they survived their first Cake at Stake, but were eliminated at their second.
    • They were all eliminated first before the other losing team did Cake at Stake.
    • None of them were eliminated through ordinary means. Eggy was faded away, Clock was allowed to stay in the hotel, and Cake was crushed to death by Two and had to be recovered.
    • Coincidentally, they were all eliminated in back to back episodes, from TPOT 6, 7, and 8.
  • Eggy, Bomby, Fries, Golf Ball, and Bell are the only contestants to be eliminated in episodes that aired at meetups.

General[]

  • Eggy's design doesn't appear to match any real-life egg.
    • However, she does slightly resemble a Yellow Yoshi Egg from the Super Mario Bros. series.
  • Eggy's story traces back to when she was "an egg inside of an egg". If she did come from an egg, then this would mean that Eggy is the first to confirm that her species do lay eggs.
    • This would also confirm that objects hatch from eggs, or maybe that is how the egg species gives birth.
  • According to Satomi, Eggy was originally going to be on Beep and the contestant that was going to have her spot on the The Losers! was Nickel or Roboty.[2][dead link]
  • She likes to add "blah blah blah" to her sentences to test people if people are paying attention to her.[3]
  • Eggy's name is one of the few that begin with a vowel, the others being Announcer, Eraser and Ice Cube.
  • According to the BFB 13 voting results, Eggy is the least favorited character out of the BFB cast.
  • In "Return of the Rocket Ship", Eggy says that when she cracks, she bleeds Loser's color, implying she does have a yolk.
    • In "UNREAL BFDI", when Eggy cracks, Loser comes out of her.
  • She and Pie were the only two recommended characters to die in their auditions in The Reveal.
