Ben Affleck wrote a Batman screenplay for himself to direct and star in. It was cancelled in favor of Matt Reeves' The Batman reboot starring Robert Pattinson. Test footage of Joe Manganiello in his JL costume was tweeted by Affleck. Keith Christensen designed completely new costumes for Affleck and Manganiello. Jay Oliva drew storyboards for the project.
Plot[]
Deathstroke was featured as the main villain and was targeting Batman for killing his son. Arkham Asylum played a major part in story according the cinematographer. According to Joe Manganiello, Batgirl would have played a major role in the story and served as Batman's sidekick. The final battle would have been a fight across the streets of Gotham between them and Deathstroke.
