Superman is a super powered alien crime-fighter who fights for truth, justice, and the American way, He's also the sworn guardian protector of the city of Metropolis and planet Earth.
History[]
Origins[]
Born on the distant planet of Krypton to Jor-El and Lara, lived baby Kal-El until that tragic day his father discovered that in mere moments their planet would be destroyed. Jor-El and Lara decided to place their infant son in an experimental spacecraft that would take Kal-El to Earth ensuring his survival. Upon arriving on Earth in Smallville, Kansas. Kal-El is found by farming couple known as Jonathan and Martha Kent who adopted him and raised him as their own son naming him Clark (after Martha's maiden name). Over the years, Clark's powers developed slowly.
Early life[]
Clark was 18 years old before his adoptive parents told him of his extraterrestrial origin. For the next seven years, Clark worked in secret to prevent disasters and fight crime. Clark headed to Metropolis where he became a Mild-Mannered reporter for the Daily Planet alongside his partner Lois Lane and pal Jimmy Olsen with boss Perry White. But when trouble arises Clark would transform into the Champion of Justice Superhero known as Superman.
As Superman[]
Superman is a good friend of Batman's. He was referenced in "Legends of the Dark Mite!" when Batman told Bat-Mite that Superman told him about Mr. Mxyzptlk and mentioned by Booster Gold by his nickname, Big Blue. Aside from that, after reverting to his original form after going through dinosaur poo in the form of a spade, Plastic Man asked why Superman did not have to go through this. He is shown in "Sidekicks Assemble!" along with the other Justice League members, although his face is not shown. His identity of Clark Kent shows up in Bruce Wayne's wedding and funeral in "The Knights of Tomorrow!". He finally appears in "Battle of the Superheroes!" where Superman is exposed to Red Kryptonite and turns evil causing Batman and Krypto to fight Superman until the effects of the Red Kryptonite wear off. In the end of the episode Superman, Batman, Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen figure out Lex Luthor exposed him to the Red Kryptonite. Batman and Superman managed to defeat Lex Luthor and take him to jail. When Brainiac attacks Metropolis, Superman and Batman spring into action.
Batman assembles the Justice League.

- Superman first appearance in Batman: The Brave and The Bold timeline actually occurred in the Batman: The Brave and The Bold #2 (April, 2009) comic before his TV debut.
- In season 2 episode 9 The Super-Batman of Planet X!, Batman of Zurr En Arrh/talonno, Vilsi Vaylar and Rohtul are basically a representation of Superman/Clark Kent, Lois Lane and Lex Luthor.
