For over 20 years, Barney the Dinosaur has made a big impact on children all over the world. However, in 2009, after shooting the Season 13 episodes, they stopped filming new videos/episodes, due to a lack of funding. However, they filmed the music videos for Season 14, too. In October 2011, Mattel bought out HIT Entertainment. As of September 2012, there is still no word if they will continue or not.
