"Stick With Imagination!" is the first episode and the season premiere of the sixth season of Barney & Friends.

Plot[]

When Stephen finds a stick while cleaning up the treehouse, Barney and his friends learn all about how to use your imagination to have fun. Barney helps the children have fun with what is around them by using their imagination. Even a stick can be a fun toy when you pretend it is a baseball bat, flute, pirate's shovel, tent pole, rocket throttle, or a magic wand. Barney and his friends learn how to use their imagination in order to make the ordinary, lots of fun.

• This episode marked:
  • The first episode to use the PBS Kids logo with Dot and Dash.
  • The first appearance of the season six Barney costume.
  • Another time something happens to the Barney doll before coming to life. When the kids were singing “Clean Up”, Keesha was dusting off the staircase in the treehouse and the dust spread the air, which made Barney come to life and sneeze.
  • The only season 6 episode where Keesha and Hannah appeared together, as well as the final time they do.
• This group (Hannah, Keesha, Robert, and Stephen) appeared in Barney's Night Before Christmas.
• A different Baby Bop costume is used in this episode. It is similar to the 1996 costume.
• The plot in this episode is a little similar to the plot of the season 3 episode, "It's Raining, It's Pouring...". Instead of parachute, (as in "It's Raining, It's Pouring...") in this episode the kids use a stick, and the episode also takes place on a sunny day.
• Somewhere between 2005 and 2006, when Season 6 was pulled from the PBS Kids lineup, this was the final episode to be broadcast.
