Tempus, also known as Foehammer and the Lord of Battle, is a chaotic neutral greater deity of war.
He is random in his favors and may manifest before a battle, appearing on one side or the other. He has two horses, a white mare named Veiros and a black stallion named Deiros. If he rides the former, success is assured. If he rides the latter however, the army will lose the battle. Most often he will ride both at the same time, with one foot on each, indicating the chaotic nature of battle. He is served by the Red Knight.
Involvement[]
In Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear, he may appear in the form of a disembodied voice in the Dragonspear Castle Exterior during the Foehammer's Blessing quest. He speaks in capital letters.
“ | ASK AND YOU SHALL BE TESTED. CLAIM VICTORY AND TEMPUS WILL DELIVER HIS AID. | ” |
