Raafee

Raafee is a caravan master in Trademeet during the Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn campaign, and can be found inside Raafee's Tent south of the exterior wall, just outside the city gates.

Raafee is normally the Supplier for the Caravan Merchant, but as the latter comments, supplies through Raafee have been cut off, forcing everyone to Deal with the Trademeet Genies instead.

Genie Trouble[]

While the genies still control trade in the town, Raafee laments.

"I can do little for ye until them genies be gone... and then I must find supply for this town. Talk to the head o' the merchant guild... Busya be her name."

"Waukeen would never 'ave allowed this to happen, if she were still alive to watch over us. Those genies have moved in and swallowed all the trade routes."

"They mesmerizes every caravan that comes in, including mine. They makes ye take a poor penny for all yer goods, and there's nothing Lord Logan Coprith can do."

"Bah! It makes my mouth swim with bile. I don't know if I'll even have enough coin to have the caravan return to Murann, now."

Troubles No More[]

After both the Animals and Genies have been dealt with:

"Ye're a true hero... the roads be safe, an' now Raafee can refill the shops of Trademeet. The merchant guild has paid me well to ply the trade lanes once again."

"Ye've saved me family from destitution, friend. I wish there were some way I could repay ye. Hopefully the lord o' this place has rewarded ye well."

"I be sorry, but I can't talk now. I must ready the drivers to head back to Murann. Now that the troubles are over, we've been commissioned to restock the town!"
