It also gives the wearer immunity from fear and restores 1 hit point per turn when wielded. It has a -2 bonus to THAC0, a weight of 3 lbs and a speed factor of 3. This item appears in Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn.

It can be found in a part of the Firkraag's Maze, which are only accessible when accepting the Samia's Proposal side quest from Samia herself. The Dragon Scale Shield is found at the same place.

- Although the item description claims that the sword deals "double damage against dragons", it actually deals an additional 1d8+2 damage to dragons instead. Bonuses to damage from sources such as Strength, Weapon Proficiency or buff spells will not be doubled.
- In the original edition of BGII only, this means that Peridan takes off two layers from a dragon's Stoneskin in a single hit.
