The Repository of Undeath, also known as the Lich Outpost, is an area in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear.
It is the lair of Coldhearth Lich and one of the locations involved in the Dwarves of Dumathoin quest.
Library[]
The tunnel entering this level will deposit the party into the library, which contains Tome of Ancient Knowledge, A Philosophical Treatise on the Nature of Lichdom, Volume MCXII of the History of the Netherese Empire, and Mortal to Lich Notes.
Scrying Pool[]
Not far from the entrance to the area is a large cauldron filled with white light that is missing 3 Silver Scepters. One may be found in the laboratory, one in the room south of the pool, and the last is in a cabinet, behind a hidden door with a large horde of undead.
Once all these are placed in the pool, Gorion's Ward may see a choice of three visions, one of Imoen, one of the Hooded Man, or one of Caelar Argent. Each will grant each party member 500 XP.
After each vision is seen, the pool will cloud up and prevent seeing another, until an Essence of Clarity, of which there are two more, is poured in. One Essence is on a shelf in the west part of the laboratory and the other held by one of the undead horde behind the hidden door near the center of the map.
