Jhor the Bleeder is a unique magical and enchanted Bastard Sword +2 that has the ability to cause wounds which continue bleeding, condemning victims to die slowly with so much as a single hit.
Gameplay[]
- The bleeding is in fact a Poison status effect applied on each damaging hit. Several successful damaging hits would have several such effects running concurrently on the target. If the hit on a target cannot inflict any slashing damage, the poison or bleeding effect does not take place. For example, a successful hit on a target protected by Stoneskin will stop the damage from the sword's blade, and therefore not allow the poison effect either.
- Targets affected by a Haste effect of any kind will take:

Description[]
“ | This blade belonged to Ho Mang, a traveler from Kara-Tur who accepted dubious service at courts throughout Faerûn. Skilled in "persuasion," he would use this sword to perform the "Death Of A Thousand Cuts," an ancient ritual from his homeland involving a lengthy series of small, painful incisions. The properties of the blade prevent blood from clotting, and the victim slowly bleeds to death. The sword was stolen, and its whereabouts have been a mystery until now. | ” |
