Lamalha is a cleric of Cyric sent by the Iron Throne to kill Gorion's Ward. She is found in the Valley of the Tombs, just north of the one-way exit from the Nashkel Mines, with a party consisting of two ranged-weapon fighters (Maneira and Telka) and another cleric (Zeela).
Unlike other would-be assassins that have been encountered thus far, Lamalha and her party are a serious threat. They may well be the most challenging encounter faced so far, particularly for parties that rely heavily on melee rather than ranged attacks.
Lamalha favors debilitating mind-control spells such as Rigid Thinking, as does Zeela.

You there, is your name <Gorion's Ward>? Hurry up and answer. Your answer better be the truth, for your life depends upon it.
- 1-Lighten up, girl. We're not going to tell you our name, so why don't you and your little amazons wander back to wherever you came from?
- You insolent pigs! You know not who you speak to. Your arrogance will cost you your lives.
- 2-Yes, my name is <Gorion's Ward>, what of it?
- That is good. My companions and I have tracked you for many days and I am to give you a message. You and your friends are to die. Your interference with the Iron Throne may have caused some minor setbacks, but die knowing that your actions were mostly futile.
- 3-No, that isn't my name. I think you have the wrong person.
- You lie! Remember what I told you about lying. You were foolish to even try, as my god Cyric allows me to see through all falsehoods. You shall now die, <Gorion's Ward>. You will never interfere with the Iron Throne ever again.
