Delosar's Inn is also a Tavern with a Store within Athkatla's Bridge District in Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn. Note that Delosar's Inn is also known as "Calibor's Inn" in the Near Infinity file viewer.

Layout[]

The Inn has three floors. The 1st Floor is the Tavern area, and the main public entrance/exit is a doorway of the southeast. A stairway connects the tavern area to the 2nd floor, which has two rooms, and one is initially occupied by Captain Dennis and the Mercenaries of Riatavin. There is a doorway on the SE side that connects the second floor to the Bridge District "Street Level". There is also another staircase on the second floor that ascends to the 3rd Floor. Both the 2nd and 3rd Floors are for Inn guests sleeping quarters.

Upstairs from there, are more bedrooms, with a guest nobleman, noblewoman, and two sailors (male and female).

Downstairs from street level is the tavern, where you can order drinks, rent rooms, and peruse Calbor's Shop. Besides Antidotes (×10), Potions of Healing (×20), Potions of Heroism (×4), and Potions of Strength (×6), Calbor only stocks mundane arms and armor. Elanda the bar wench doesn't have much to say, unless you have Haer'Dalis in-party.

Outside, access to the balcony is reached through the third floor, while through the first floor is a walkway just above the water where a small skiff has been raised.

Gameplay[]

  • Speaking with the barkeep Calbor in the 1st Floor tavern area allows access to his "store", quaffing drinks in order to facilitate "rumors" (overdoing it can lead to being Intoxicated), and also dialogue that may answer questions the party may have about various topics. Calbor provides one the most complete opinions you'll hear in Athkatla regarding what he thinks is going on between the Shadow Thieves and whatever other group is warring with them.
  • If Jan Jansen is in the party, there will be an exchange between Calbor and the gnome. There is some kind of prior history between the two.
  • Entering the 2nd Floor will initiate dialogue with Captain Dennis. The exchange between the party spokesperson and he and his mercenaries will either lead to violence or just a close call. Choose wisely.
  • Conversation is available with all patrons and guests on the 1st and 3rd floor if the party desires.

Containers[]

1st Floor (Tavern AR0513)[]

The first floor has three tables; none have alarms and the Amnian Guards don't seem to notice any pilfering. The middle table is empty.

2nd Floor (Mercenaries of Ritavalin AR0514)[]

There are three chests at street level. The northern chest has an alarm [1] that summons the authorities (if observed stealing), including Amnian Centurions, Amnian Legionaries and Cowled Enforcers [2]. If still present, Captain Dennis and his mercenaries also attack. A well hidden thief can avoid triggering the alarm.

3rd Floor (Guests - AR0515)[]

There are four containers on the top floor. The table and two chests (east and west) are empty.

The Sword Coast Stratagems standardizes the weapon proficiencies and fighting styles for the Amnian Guards, to match what they are wielding (Spears). They also have SCS Fighter AI scripts included for smarter tactical behavior and improved "Shouts" for help. The soldiers now have 3 pips in Spears and 2 pips in Two-handed weapon fighting style. Additional SCS random treasure is placed in the inventory. See Captain Dennis and Mercenary of Riatavin pages for their SCS content.

The Assassinations mod has one mission that takes place on the 3rd floor, with the targets being a male and female Harper.

The Check the Bodies (CtB) mod "Got Ice" mini-quest begins here by speaking with Calbor.
