New encounters and content[]

• Encounter with thieves:
  The party will face a group of skilled thieves in the Sewers (Slums District).

• Encounter with orc war party:
  Player will come across a murderous band of Urak Hai and other orcs in the Umar Hills.

• Encounter with Lord Jierdan (mister "F"'s) mercenaries:
  Party will face a group of mercenaries if they try and enter Firkraag's Entrance.

• Encounter with drow war party:
  As soon as the party descends to the Underdark, they'll be faced with conflict from a well-armed and balanced group of hostile drow.

• Encounter with second drow war party:
  In Chapter 6, a Priestess of Lolth leads an ambush to avenge the killing of the drow War Party in the Underdark.

• There are other small changes added to this mod as well:
  Shagbag and his goons are improved.
  The Druid Grove and certain enemies are also improved.

• New unique items are included. Some are from defeated enemies and other available in various Stores. A few may be viewed as "Overpowered" (OP), use at your discretion.

Mod Notes[]

This mod and its original hosting site are now shuttered, and it seems as if it is currently not maintained. For several years it has been difficult to find. The download location is now at the gate project on Github.

Downloading the mod and extracting it like any other WeiDU mod allows the user to peruse the readme and associated information about it.

The mod has not identified any other mod conflicts, as of its release date. The mod works with EET.

Gallery[]

CoM Encounters, in the Umar Hills - Urak Hai and Smelly Orcs attack the party.

Drow group with Derro berserkers, priestesses, and mage led by Matron Mother Maelither challenge the party in the Underdark.

CoM Encounters mod with Sword Coast Stratagems and Spell Revisions as well. All mods work together.

Enemy spell protections are up, twin Mordenkainen's Sword creatures summoned to battle the party.

Dark Planetar opponent gated in to destroy the party. Power Word, Blind affects Jan Jansen.

Hostile drow mage casts a High-level class ability - Dragon's Breath (spell) is coming.

The enemy mage is still well protected against everything. He gates in a Death Knight to attack.

Gab Riella Maelither and drow allies ambush the party in Chapter 6 - to avenge Matron Mother Maelither who attacked us in Chapter 5.

The attack awkwardly occurs at the same instance (on purpose) that Bodhi has abducted Jaheira, and her vampires attack as well. This makes for a tough start to the The final battle with Bodhi questline. Well done mod author - well done indeed.
