Greetings friends, Today I came up with the idea of using smaller paper punches into card-making. I really love my punches so much, they are among my first purchases and are so very versatile.

Hi there, Today's project is a very sweet little favor box. It looks like a tetra pack carton, ain't that cute? It is very easy to make and the dimensions are given below. Paper size- 10 1/2 x 6 1/4 inches Score lines- on longer side: 2 1/2, 5, 7 1/2 and 10; marks at 1 1/4 and 6 1/4 on shorter side: 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 now with marks at the right hand side and inverted, score at 5 3/4 Panels- 1 3/4 x 2 1/4 inches, 4 pcs. Check it here- I thought why not reveal my recipe for homemade Gesso. Gesso is basically a primer, used over canvas and cloth bases. It reduces the amount of paint required to cover the canvas as it covers the garin pores, which results in a more smooth painting. Can you appreciate the texture of the gesso in the pic below?; Now, the recipe goes like this 1. Plaster of Paris- 1 cup 2. Wall Putty- 1 cup 3. White glue- 1 cup 4. These are a must have for any crafter for their learning processes but for any beginner, this could be a little over the budget For the how-to, click below; youtu.be/2vp2Ynao704 Recipes Embossing Paste:- 1. Talcum Powder- 1/4th cup 2. Glue- 1 tbsp. 3. White paint- 1 tbsp. 4. Water/Glue- to adjust the consistency Texture Paste:- 1. Plaster of Paris- 1/4th cup 2. 1:1 mixture of glue and water- 1 tbsp. 3. Paint- to add color (optional) Here's a comparison of their textures on black and white backgrounds, the more dull one is the texture paste. Give these a try and do let me know how your results were.
