Flamethrowers (火炎放射器 Kaen hōsha-ki) are a type of firearm used by Exorcists in combat. [1]
Overview[]
Flamethrowers are an effective weapon when used against demons of the Decay element.[2] However, their power is limited, so even the use of multiple flamethrowers and other weapons are inefffective against the likes of the Impure King.[3] They have also been used against demons possessing the Water element, despite their advantage, and proven effective, presumably because of the low level of their opposition.[4]
While normally wielded by Dragoons[5], they have been shown to be handed to others, even Exwires should the situation call for it.[6]
The Illuminati developed a variation of the flamethrower called a Dimensional Shift Flamethrower, capable of producing blue, black and red flames.[7]
