Cows ( Ushi?) are a species of villager in Animal Crossing series, the female counterpart of bulls. The main difference, aside from the cows having more effeminate features, is that the bulls have curlier, pointier horns. Cows and bulls are the only species to be separated by gender.

There are a total of eight cows, of which three are normal, two are peppy, three are snooty. There are no sisterly cows.

Patty is the only cow to appear in every game in the series.

Most cows are Taurus in reference to the symbol of Taurus being a bull.
