Isako Kiyotaka was a director working for Studio Cockpit. He is possibly most well known for directing Pokemon's infamous seizure flash episode, Dennou Senshi Porygon.
On a company vacation to Akiyama-gou in 2010, it was discovered that Isako's blood pressure was over 200. After the trip, Cockpit's president Yamaguchi Hidenori hurriedly arranged a medical examination but Isako skipped it because he was busy with his work. The following year, in September of 2011, Isako's co-workers at Cockpit lost contact with him. Shortly thereafter, his apartment was investigated by his landlord, a police officer, and Nishio Kimihiro of Cockpit and he was found dead. His funeral was arranged by Yamaguchi and held in Tokyo.
It is theorized by some that Isako's untimely death was one of the factors which lead to Studio Cockpit's dissolution in 2016.
