One of the few shows I actually dropped.
Magmell's greatest weakness is trying to be many things at once, but fails to actually focus on any one of them. The first few episodes for example start of somewhat seriously, only to go 110% goof-mode in the episodes following afterwards. I could explain this in more detail, but it would all boil down to one simple fact: The target audience for this show is somewhere between 10-16 years old, and for them, everything about this might just feel right.
So if you're 12, or if you really really like shounen style anime, this might just be for you.

A mediocre but still funny or rather silly and relaxing story about friendship and adventures.

Most of the episodes could be stand-alone stories but some and especially the last episodes tell a longer connected story.

The whole anime is kept quite simple but it's alright even though you have to get used to the pacing I guess. It started quite nice and promising followed by a slope where I almost lost my interest to continue watching it but it picked up again to end quite nicely. The series didn't answer all questions so a continuation might be possible. Maybe I would even watch it again to get closure.

If you've seen all the good shounen and are looking for something else this might be it.
