Matilda is a major supporting character in the Angry Birds film series.
Appearance[]
Matilda is a white oval-shaped bird with green pupils and three long eyelashes on each eye. She has pink spots on her cheeks, four head feathers with pink tips, and three similar-looking tail feathers with three longer feathers on each. She has short legs and feet with one back toe and two front toes.

She is very laid back and is determined to help her students. However, deep down he has a lot of repressed anger, which on extreme occasions he comes to release. She also loves her children very much and loves her husband.

The Angry Birds Movie[]
She is a main character and the anger management teacher for Red, Chuck, Bomb, and Terence. She is also one of the birds that welcomes her to the pigs and believes her lie until Chuck tells her that the pigs are stealing the eggs.
Later she joins Red and the others in reaching Piggy Island. Upon arrival, she is the first to be thrown against the pigs and makes use of her egg-bomb power.
Finally, she is rescued by Terence along with other birds. Throughout the film it is seen that Terence is in love with Matilda and she finds out in one part. In the end the two end up falling in love.
The Angry Birds Movie 2[]
She is a secondary character. She is married to Terence and they have four daughters, Zoe, Jenny, Bailey and Eloise (the last three aren't born until the end of the film). Together with Terence, she stays on the Island and in the end they attend the wedding of Mighty Eagle and Zeta.
Book Appearances[]
Red's Got The Blues[]
Matilda appears in the background at multiple instances in this book. She's first seen enjoying a fruit bowl at The Birdfeeder, and can be seen in the crowd later during the Judge's statue ceremony.
No Need for Speed[]
Matilda appears early in the book, being bothered by Chuck's constant pacing. She can later be seen as a customer in Willow's Healthy and Wholesome All-Organic Cafe, being served by Chuck.
What's Bothering Bomb?[]
Matilda can be seen in the background during scenes inside Stella's Dance Studio. She's last seen congratulating Bomb for saving Chuck after he traps himself in a wall.
Game appearances[]
Angry Birds Football[]
Matilda appears as a minor character in Angry Birds Football using her Movie design. She only appears when she sends messages to the player (Red).
Angry Birds Holiday[]
Matilda was featured as the main character and guide of the player, which had never happened before; as most games featured Red as the leading main character. Matilda would guide and teach the player how to play the game.
The game was never released out of the soft launch, and Rovio officially announced that the game had stopped development and that it'd be shut down as of December 31, 2016.
Gameplay[]
Matilda is not a playable character, as none of the birds and pigs are. Thus, Matilda does nothing directly in the game, and the player cannot use her in any way, and she only serves as a guide. However, the entire motive of the game is set by her, as the player must help her in building the resort island to attract the vacationing pigs.
Angry Birds Evolution[]

Matilda appears in Angry Birds Evolution as an unlockable character. She is unlocked after beating the White Mountains. There are also other white birds in the game that can be evolved and unlocked.

Evolution[]
Her gaze is now angrier. She wears an orange towelhead with a pink gem on the center and a feather sticking out of it, a red dot on her forehead, golden earrings and a pink band on her torso.
Furious Inferno Evolution[]
Based on Furiosa from Mad Max, she is now bald and the hair is replaced by car grease. She wears a shirt with two brown belts with silver buckles and one with a skull buckle and a large black and white shoulder pad on the right arm.
Her gaze is now angrier.
Magnetize Evolution[]
Based on Power Girl, she uses a white suit with the letter pink M on a circle emblem on the left of the torso and pink parts. She also wears a golden tiara with a red gem on the center, a pink belt with a golden buckle and a pink cape with a golden necklace holder.
Her hair strands are now golden.

When she is in her first level, she gives less than 1100 Bird Power to the team, but she can be evolved and trained to give more.
Costs[]
It costs 300 White Evolution material to evolve her. It then costs 780 Evolution Material and 25 White Essence to evolve her to a last evolution.
The income of White Evolution Material and Coins when selling her varies according to her level.

Matilda can be seen in Angry Birds Match at the Mystery Chests screen. She sells the player the Mystery Chests in the game.
Angry Birds POP Blast[]
Matilda appeared in Angry Birds POP Blast in an update, along with other characters. Like most playable characters in the game, she can be unlocked after obtaining a determined number of points that can obtained at the Piñata. Once the player unlocks her, she can be used at any level, along with a pig, that the player chooses.
When her bar is full, she will active her ability, which an explosive fireball appears on the launcher and if it's launched, it will explode a row of bubbles.

Terence[]
Matilda is Terence's wife. The two first met when the law forced the big bird to attend the white bird's anger management classes. At some point, Terence fell in love with Matilda, even confessing that he loved her through a painting of hers. As this made her uncomfortable, Matilda left, leaving behind a saddened Terence. However, after he saved her, Matilda also fell in love with him, eventually marrying (albeit in a low-cost wedding) and having four daughters together. Because of how close she is to him, Matilda is one of the few people who isn't afraid of Terence.
