Hello! Fall is right around the corner. Today I have a fun Fall card to share with you using Whimsy Stamps' digital stamp. This adorable image is called Penguin Fun in Fall. I decided to change up the color of the penguin just a bit and used a shade of blue. I used a white gel pen to add lots of white highlights.

I decided to challenge myself to make a card using Kraft cardstock and coloring with Copic markers for the Fall Coffee Lover's blog hop. Lets just say that it was a learning experience. The paper did not do a very good job holding onto the ink. I had to fix a lot of mistakes, but I love how it came out so all is well.

I found this Meljen image called Cuppa Tea and took a break from homework to color it up for the Fall Coffee Lover's blog hop.
I kept this really simple and only used a few markers to add color and shading.

I've been sitting at night spending time with my family and coloring a bunch of stamps. I've missed just coloring images so it was nice to be able to just sit and color. The upside is that I now have a bunch of images ready to turn into cards. This one is one of the digital downloads from Inspired by Stamping called Sunflower.


I had to google what a sunflower looks like in the center for coloring reference. There are so many different colors for the center and I didn't even know there were orange sunflowers. I always thought they were yellow with some orange not all orange. After I finished coloring the flower, I added some white highlights with a gel pen, then I went a bit further and added white highlights to the sentiment also.

Happy Tuesday! Fall has official begun. I sure wish the weather would get cooler but not so in my neck of the woods. We don't really have Fall and I miss it so much.
