The Hateful, once known as Hertha, is a minor antagonist in the 2022 action-adventure game God of War Ragnarök.
Biography[]
According to Mimir, she was once an empress that was too angry to die, and refused her own death, becoming a Draugr. Her hatred led to her receiving extreme powers.
There are six Draugr holes that she can spawn from, and destroying all six results in finally killing her.
Throughout the adventures to destroy all six Draugr holes, Mimir slowly remembers more about Hertha, though Kratos does not care much about who she was before, since all that is left of her is rage.
Upon destroyed the final Draugr hole, Mimir says that he feels safer now.
Personality[]
She was described as a cruel empress by Mimir.
Quotes[]
“ | I have never encountered a Draugr like this one before It fights as if fueled by an infinite hate. It emerged from a scar in the earth that closed once we defeated the monster. If we encounter more of these holes, we must close them and put down any creatures that emerge.
Mimir has identified her as a former Empress, called Hertha. I do not care who she ruled over, I will put her back in the ground. |
