The Makamou (魔化魍) are a group of demonic monsters based off of creatures from Japanese folklore who hunt humans and the main antagonists of Kamen Rider Hibiki.
The Makamou are created by the Man and Woman, who cultivate them first by creating a Douji and Hime and then spawning them from it. Typically dwelling in rural areas, Makamou hunt humans as food, necessitating the Oni Kamen Riders to go and fight them off.
Unlike other monsters in the Kamen Rider franchise, which are typically humanoid, the Makamou have much more gigantic and kaiju-like forms.
World of Hibiki[]
The Makamou exist in the A.R. World of Hibiki and are fought by the Oni Kamen Riders to keep them from devouring humans.
