The Lostbelt Kings are major antagonists in Fate/Grand Order: Cosmos in the Lostbelt. They are the rulers of the alternate realities known as Lostbelts, which are parallel worlds of a certain era in human history or mythology coming to a dead end in their respective timelines, yet were abnormally brought back into existence using the mysterious Fantasy Trees.

In the gameplay, it is possible for the Lostbelt Kings to become available as playable Servants in the later summoning events. They also retain their memory from their individual Lostbelts after being summoned.

Overview[]

Upon Chaldea's destruction, the Lostbelt Kings from each of their respective timelines are engaged into an unwilling league with the Alien God and Crypters to expand their realms, fulfilling the Alien God's purpose to replace Pan-Human History with eras of gods and the supernatural.

However, most of the Lostbelt Kings are unwilling to follow the plans of either the Alien God or the Crypters, causing them to be in bitter relationships with them. The Crypter's plans to remove the reign of some of them in order to advance their plans in the Lostbelts, along with the appearance of the Fantasy Trees in the territories they rule over, cause the Lostbelt Kings play major roles in the battle between the Alien God's forces and Chaldea.

Overview[]

Ivan the Terrible (Rider)[]

The Lostbelt version of Ivan the Terrible, also known as the Thunder Emperor, is an alternate version of Tsar Ivan IV of Russia who lives in an alternate Tsardom of Russia, circa 1570 A.D. where a meteor crashed into the Earth during the 16th century and triggered an Ice Age which wiped out humanity.

During the catastrophe, Ivan the Terrible was able to save himself and 10% of Russia's population by ordering his court magicians to magically transform them into human-beast hybrids known as the "Yaga". He would then rule over the frozen wastes of Russia for 450 years as its supreme Tsar.

In 2017 of Pan-Human History, with the arrival of Kadoc Zemlupus and Anastasia, Ivan would be put into a deep slumber so the Crypters could use the army produced by his Noble Phantasm to their advantage.

Scathach-Skadi (Caster)[]

Scathach-Skadi is originally Skadi, a Jötunn and a goddess hailing from Norse Mythology. During Surtr's rampage against the gods during the apocalyptic Ragnarok, circa 1000 B.C., Odin fused Skadi with the Lostbelt version of Scathach in order to hide her presence from the Fire Giant. After the world was left in flames from Ragnarok being abnormally disrupted, Scathach-Skadi, as the only surviving god, set out to rule over the surviving humans and giants as their guardian.

She appeared in Lostbelt No. 2: Götterdämmerung as its King, working together with Ophelia Phamrsolone. She was released as a limited-time Servant in the third anniversary event gacha.

Qin Shi Huang (Ruler)[]

Also known as Shi Huangdi, Emperor Qin Shi Huang is the Lostbelt version of the historical first emperor of China. Born as Ying Zheng, the young king ascended to his position of power after a terrible rebellion in the state of Qin. In his Lostbelt, he aspired to conquer the Warring States at the time, and at 221 BC successfully unified ancient China. The Emperor was known in history to have searched for the secrets of immortality before dying in 210 BCE.

However, in the Lostbelt during the year he was supposed to die, the Emperor discovered the secret of mechanizing the human body from analyzing the corpse of Taiyi Zhenren, an artificial human created by the supernatural Xian in the past Yin Dynasty and managed to reach immortality. He then proceeded to advance his empire's technologies until eventually conquering the whole world. Unlike other Lostbelt Kings, the Emperor devotes more for humanity and actively opposes the Crypters and the Alien God once he discovers their schemes. Despite keeping his empire relatively simple, the Emperor wishes to maintain his globe-spanning empire and strikes down any opinions that differ from his own as "Confucian". He also doesn't take kindly to either Hinako Akuta or Chaldea's interference in his world.

The Pan-Human History version of Qin Shi Huang was first mentioned in Fate/strange fake as a Rider-class Heroic Spirit, originally intended to be summoned in the place of False Rider, but the result was the Pale Rider instead.

Arjuna Alter (Berserker)[]

Arjuna Alter, also known as God Arjuna, Arjuna Over Gods, the Black Final God and Final God of Ebony, is an altered version of Arjuna who first appears as the Lostbelt's almighty god and ruler, overseeing the people and the Yuga cycle from Hindu mythology in his dominion.

He is an alternate version of Arjuna formed from every Hindu god in mythology conglomerating into a single body to serve as the only God of the Lostbelt. Only Kama escaped from this act due to the gods keeping Mara in check being absorbed. However, despite his immensely powerful divine abilities, the core of his being is still Arjuna, as demonstrated by his ability to recognize Karna and rage against him.

His whole plan is to create a world where no evil exists, but all of his actions are under the persuasive manipulation of Caster Limbo, corrupting Arjuna Alter to destroy and re-create the world once every few days in an endless cycle instead. Because of Limbo's manipulation, Scandinavia Peperoncino was cast out from his position and had to work temporarily with Chaldea to regain his place.

Zeus (Ruler)[]

The Lostbelt version of Zeus is the ruler of the Machine God of Olympus, mechanical alien entities who arrived on Earth in prehistoric times and were worshiped as the mythological Greek pantheon by ancient humans. The Machine Gods were supposed to have coexisted with humanity after 12000BCE from their defeat by another alien invader called Velber, yet their Lostbelt had them be victorious instead. The Lostbelt Machine Gods then kept the Age of Gods active under Zeus's tyrannical leadership, allowing them to upgrade themselves for another 14,000 years and create an utopian technologically-advanced civilization where humanity is nigh-immortalized yet falling to stagnation.

Morgan (Berserker)[]

Morgan is the Lostbelt Queen who rules over an alternate version of Britain called Faerie Britain. This Lostbelt was formed after all life on Earth was completely destroyed by Velber in 12000BCE, with only the last few surviving faeries re-creating civilization afterwards. Morgan was created by the planet to be the savior of this Lostbelt Britain, yet she was betrayed so many times by the other faeries that she decided to establish an authoritarian monarchy and make the fairies suffer under her oppressive rule for 2000 years.

Kukulkan (Foreigner)[]

Kukulkan was known in ancient Mayan mythology as the feathered serpent god of wind and water. However, the Lostbelt-version of Kukulkan originated from an alternate timeline where the meteor that killed the dinosaurs arrived too early, causing the dinosaurs to instead survive and continue evolving to become the dominant species on Earth. The dinosaurs then learned about the concept of gods and worship after the arrival of the Crypter Daybit Sem Void and his Servant Tezcatlipoca, causing the sun itself to become deified into the goddess named Kukulkan who was secretly an embodiment of ORT too.

Kukulkan is unique among the other Lostbelt Kings in that she is not considered to be a villain or antagonist to Chaldea, allying herself with them to stop the hostile forces in her Lostbelt from destroying the planet.
