Biography[]
Strozzi is a bootlegger lord residing in the town of Jericho. He lives at the Sweetwater. He is at war against the Irish gangster Doyle though the two established a truce by the time being.
Strozzi is first seen explaining to Smith he smuggles oozes from Mexico and he is in a truce with Doyle. He wants to recruit the man after he beats a bunch of Doyle’s men. He asks personal info about Smith, then calls a woman working for him named Lucy and orders her to take Smith to his room.
Later, Strozzi organizes a big meal with his men and Smith. He and Smith have a friendly conversation until Strozzi’s cousin Giorgio Carmonte arrives. Distrutful of the new man, Carmonte calls Strozzi out to hire a man who happened to kill one of Doyle’s best man because it could damage the truce, to which Strozzi says that since Hickey isn’t here, the worst Doyle can do is to try to hire Smith to work for himself since everyone is scared of him.
Some time later, Strozzi convokes Smith to Slim (Smith was renting a room in the tavern), a remote place out of town. Smith arrives accompanied by Lucy. Strozzi asks her why she is late. She stands up to him, resulting in Strozzi to violently slap her. Strozzi assigns to Smith his first mission: to intercept a shipment belonging to Doyle.
The mission proves to be a success. The Mexican soldiers turn their weapons against Doyle’s employees and shoot them to death. A satisfied Strozzi sends Smith to keep an eye on Doyle.
.Later, Smith announces his resignation to Strozzi because he didn't pay back the 500 grants he owed him. An angry Strozzi insults him. However, Carmonte assaults Smith and he gets easily overpowered. Strozzi orders his men to put their guns down. He draws his own to kill Smith himself, but the latter manages to talk him out of it by deducing Strozzi doesn’t want to die for an idiot like his cousin. The gangster resigns himself to let Smith go and angrily throws his weapon on the ground.
Several days later, Strozzi is informed Doyle is holding his cousin in hostage and asks a hundred grants in exchange at the border. The exchange at first goes well, but Hickey, Doyle's right-hand man, shoots the man who brought the briefcase with the money inside. This prompts Strozzi to show he has Doyle’s daughter in hostage and tell he will keep her as long as he Carmonte is not released. This forces Doyle to agree. Strozzi then leaves the place once the exchange is done.
Although the exchange was successful, Strozzi gets more unstable over the time, getting drunk, fighting with Carmonte, and abusing Lucy. One day, Lucy stands up to him again. In retaliation, Strozzi severely beats her, slices her ear off, and throws her on the street.
Strozzi and his gang are later killed by Doyle and his men when they believe they hide Smith, the latter having lied about the way Felina went to Mexico. Seeing his cousin and all his men killed, Strozzi gives up and suurenders to Doyle, but Hickey immediately shoots him to death with his rifle.
