Egg Bot is a minor antagonist of the video game Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. He is a robotic doppelganger of Dr. Eggman, created by the doctor himself. He was locked up in Metropolis' Hazard Vault until it was opened during the city's destruction.

Egg Bot was created by Dr. Eggman at an unspecified point in the past, but due to being deemed faulty, he was stored in the Hazard Vault alongside other defective Badniks.
Sonic Chronicles[]
Egg Bot only appears in Metropolis Ground Zero. When the Angel Island crashed into the Eggman Empire's fallen capital, the Hazard Vault opened, and Badniks kept there, including Egg Bot, escaped. When Sonic and Shade's party searched for the Dimensional Buffer needed to complete Tails and Eggman's Blue Cyclone, Egg Bot encountered and attempted to destroy them. The heroes defeated and destroyed the robot, much to the dismay of Eggman, who found his robot replica handsome.
