Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‑CoV‑2) also known as Corona Virus and known by Donald Trump as Coroni, was a major antagonist in the revival of the ITV series Spittiing Image.
It is a talking representation of the coronavirus, which was satirised in the show.
It was voiced by Lewis Macleod, who also portrayed The Entity and the Jester in the third instalment of the Mr. Hopp's Playground franchise, Protoboy, General Yakitori, Bjorn Bjornson, Bjornbot, Truckenstein, and Felonious Hexx, among other villains in Robotboy, IG-88 and Sebulba in Star Wars, Lucy Simian in Season 1 of The Amazing World of Gumball, Bluebeard in Sandra: The FairyTale Detective, and Zaid in Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Coroni is a large, green, floating virus. It is blue in colour with eyes atop antennae and has red proteins stemming from its body.

Coroni is a mischievous and disobedient character. It manipulates politicians to make poor responses to the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic in aid of its spread.

The coronavirus emerged and spread across the globe. It was officially declared a pandemic in 2020, which resulted in a widespread response to prevent further spread.
Spitting Image[]
Coroni appears after Donald Trump fails to recognise the true threat posed by the virus. It begins to encourage Trump to make poor executive decisions in order to continue to spread and thrive. Trump is skeptical of Coron's influence but comes under its influence by playing on Trump's idiocy. At one point, Coroni begins to discolour and turn orange and don a blond toupee similar to Trump's, which is resultant from prolonged exposure to him, which Trump terms POTUS-45. Coroni is seen thriving at Trump's rallies, reflecting his disregard for response to prevent the spread and the superspreading that happened at Trump's rallies which were conducted with limited obedience to the coronavirus laws.
Coroni becomes increasingly present in Trump's mind, and the pair begin a "partnership". Coroni is impervious to most of the methods in eradicating it, and taunts those who do try to.
