The Chimera serves as the titular main antagonist of the 2012 animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles "Eye of the Chimera". It was a mutated hybrid of a Eagle, Fish and Worm.
History[]
After the explosion of Speed Demon, some mutagen were spilled over a eagle carrying a salmon eating a worm. Thus, the three animals merged together and became the Chimera. The giant creature devoured several local people and finally attacked the Turtles, capturing Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael and Casey Jones ; Taking them to it's nest on a triangular mountain where it ate countless and left the bones there. However, Leonardo and April, who got a psychic connection to the Chimera since an accident with one of Donatello's inventions, came to rescue them. They apparently managed to escape the creature and leave it in the grubble of the mountain, but at the end of the episode the Chimera is revealed to be alive.
