Bud Dean is one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside Heather Chandler) of the 1988 black comedy thriller Heathers and its tv and musical adaptations. He is the abusive father of Jason "J.D." Dean and the owner of Big Bud Construction. Despite appearing only a few times throughout the film, his fault in the death of J.D.'s mother and his neglect of his son causes him to develop into the misanthropic teen antagonist of the movie.

He is played by Kirk Scott in the film and in the musicals he is played by: Eric Leviton, Rex Smith, Anthony Crivello, Edward Baruwa and Nathan Amzi.
