Benjamin "Ben" Dexter is the deuteragonist of the web animation series Crash Zoom. His animations and movie productions being responsible for the plots of the episodes with some exceptions.
Even sometimes acting just like a jerk, on countless occasions he commits serious crimes knowingly just to get good recordings. In his eagerness for good recordings, he has already led a genocide, framed his friend and countless others, in addition to some of his stupid actions causing countless deaths.
Because his films have violence and weapons and he doesn't have the necessary budget, he ends up using normal people and real weapons, in addition to Kate's powers for something supernatural, with this resulting in destruction and even deaths.
He is voiced by the series creator, Thomas Ridgewell, who also voiced Tom from Eddsworld.

- In his first appearance in "Movie Massacre", he directs a film with a shootout, in which he and Kate try to convince Lucy to shoot an old lady, which she denies, so Kate scares her by making her shoot the old lady.
- They also try to convince Lucy to throw a grenade at a police car.
- He decides to go to Lucy's nerd camp with a bazooka as a sword but is stopped by her.
- In "Grave Mistake", in his eagerness to make a good zombie movie, he uses Kate's necromantic powers to resurrect countless undead, which after a while became a perfect society of peaceful and innocent zombies. Society proves to be a trap when he decides to wake up unsuspecting humans so that a mass genocide of peaceful zombies occurs, thus getting good footage.
- In "Firing Squad", he commits various crimes by destroying Lucy's jobs in anticipation of good filming.
- At the market, he uses a loudspeaker to announce that the market's patrons will fight to the death for a soup coupon. After that, a mini war begins to occur in the market, with even several deaths seen on camera.
- Together with Kate, he resurrects a mummy to scare people in the museum.
- He risked Lucy's life with ramps and fire rings while he worked.
- In a beauty pageant, he ended up being responsible for the death of the participants and the judges, in addition to the place catching fire.
- In the zoo, he releases all the animals (including the most dangerous ones) to try to remake Godzilla, after which some animals were sacrificed.
- He tries to write Lucy into a porno work without her consent, but Lucy stops him.
- In "Cover Up", he appears cold and stealing blouses to keep warm, he ended up stealing so many blouses that he ended up creating a mountain of blouses, which several people died trying to climb on it.
- In "Out Of Time", it is revealed that he once kidnapped a queen to make one of his movies, being nicknamed Queen-Napper.
- Inside the Giant Clock, he ended up messing up the timelines of history and ended up unintentionally creating a dystopia of time culminating in destruction and death, having to appear Father Time and fix the situation, culminating in the death of the three.

- In one of the comics he sees that a person is going to commit suicide, he asks not to jump, until he takes a camera and asks the person to jump.
Personality[]
He is an idiot and is often friendly with those within his circle, even though he doesn't mind the death of unknown people as long as it earns him good footage. He appears to be on good terms with Kate, sometimes even coddling and encouraging her demonic powers, as well as being friends with Lucy, even though he sometimes tends to be mixed due to risking her life so often.
He loves guns, violence, fights and objects from violence, horror and action movies, in addition to frequently trying to make animals fight each other, even if he always fails.
Trivia[]
- He is probably gay, a member of the LGBT community, as he often uses the lgbt flag on some occasions and some official arts, in addition to having blushed after hearing Lucy say "Giant Clock", being corrected by Kate, probably hearing "Giant C0¢k".
- Even though he is not a demon like Kate, he still has some demonic similarities as revealed in the episode "Grave Mistake", having red eyes and sharp teeth.
