Description

Executed by performing a quarter-circle forward motion and pressing kick, Guile kicks the opponent twice. The type of kicks he performs varies with kick button strength; a low kick and a knee for the light kick version, a jumping spin kick and a reverse thrust kick for the medium kick version, and a roundhouse kick and a thrust kick for the heavy kick version. The EX version of Blitz Combination is his Total Wipeout Super Combo. Unlike other OMEGA Mode-exclusive EX moves based on Super Combos from previous games, such as Ken's Shippu Jinraikyaku or Chun-Li's Hoyokusen, Total Wipeout only requires one stock of the Super Combo Gauge to perform instead of two.

In Street Fighter 6, this move can be performed by pressing Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick simultaneously (or pressing Drive Impact for Modern Control). Guile performs a spinning roundhouse kick to the opponent's midsection, knocking them back.

Tactics

Street Fighter 6

Like all Drive Impacts, Blitz Combination has 2-hits of armor during the startup frames. This makes it useful to absorb the opponent's attacks and retaliating as they are recovering. Hitting the opponent with Blitz Combination as a Punish Counter puts them crumple state on hit, allowing Guile to follow up with Guile High Kick or with one of his normals to start off combos. In the middle of the screen, this move can push the opponent back on block. This allows Guile to create separation and reset the neutral game, where he can pressure them with fireballs.
