Thariki was a female senator representing the planet Sarkhai in the Galactic Senate. She was appointed by the Sarkhai royal family^[1] several years before 3628 BBY,^[2] to replace Nadia Grell in that position after Nadia realised she was unable to both be an effective senator and fight the war against Zakuul at the same time. Nadia expressed confidence in Thariki and hoped to catch up with her after Nadia defended the colony established on the planet Ossus from the invading reconstituted Sith Empire.^[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Thariki was introduced in BioWare's 2016 expansion Knights of the Eternal Throne to its 2011 massively-multiplayer online roleplaying video game Star Wars: The Old Republic during Nadia Grell's recruitment mission, "The Padawan and Her Master." This mission was exclusively available for Alliance Commander players of the Jedi Consular class on the planet Odessen.^[1]

Thariki was mentioned in Nadia Grell's conversation with Jedi Consular class Alliance Commanders on the planet Odessen, which took place in the Jedi Under Siege storyline. The precise date Thariki was appointed was not mentioned, but was at least several years before the events of the storyline.
