What if Cere trained Cal?[]
I wonder if Cere helped Cal continue his training.--71.223.136.33 21:38, October 12, 2020 (UTC)
Mother[]

Add to "Category:Rebel Jedi"?[]
As of now, the Category:Rebel Jedi says it is for:
Individuals identified as Jedi (Legends) while they were members of the Alliance to Restore the Republic (Legends) or Jedi who aided the Alliance.
This could easily be updated to:
Individuals identified as Jedi (Legends) while they were members of the Alliance to Restore the Republic (Legends) or the Partisans, or Jedi who aided the Alliance or the Partisans.
in which case, Cal would clearly qualify.
What do we think about this? — YakovChaimTzvi (talk) 00:21, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
- The Partisans are very clearly not part of the Alliance. Since the category is for those who helped the Alliance, I don't think that it makes sense to add him to the category. VergenceScatter (talk) 00:23, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
- I have no objections to that. However, if we want to keep that category exclusive to those who helped the Alliance to Restore the Republic, perhaps we should rename it something akin to "Rebel Alliance Jedi" or "Rebel Alliance-affiliated Jedi". (Just my own two cents.) -- YakovChaimTzvi (talk) 00:27, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
- That would make sense to me. It's certainly more specific than the current title. VergenceScatter (talk) 00:28, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
- Another thing I just noticed: according to the Partisans article, the novel Bloodline establishes that the Partisans were affiliated with the Alliance. I have yet to read the novel, but that might factor into our consideration. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -- YakovChaimTzvi (talk) 00:30, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
- I don't remember that passage, but multiple sources have established a deep divide between the partisans and the Rebels, including Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars: The Rebel Files, and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. VergenceScatter (talk) 00:32, 14 June 2021 (UTC)

- What do we think about allowing Category:Rebel Jedi to include all Jedi who rebelled against the Empire, and making something like Category:Jedi affiliated with the Alliance to Restore the Republic a subcategory of Rebel Jedi, equivalent to the current category? Cal's Height[]
This article says Cal is 1.82m, and 5 foot 9 inches. Those are not the same height. Is he 1.82m (5ft11-6ft) or is he 5 ft 9 (1.75m)? —Unsigned comment by CaptainRustbeard (talk • contribs).
- Both. Star Wars Jedi Pocket Expert uses both 1.82 meters and 5 foot 9 for Cal's height. While they are not the same irl, keep in mind Star Wars tends to change and adapt real-world definitions for fiction, so the conversion rate from meters to feet/inches isn't necessarily the same as the real world. Partisans[]
In the game per one of the Force Echoes in the game on Corusant, Denvik outright states that Cal is part of "Saw Gerrera's organization", which is the Partisans. I don't know why my edit was undid as qucikly as it was when the game outright says he also works for Saw Gerrera. JayAaerow (talk) 03:54, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
- That could be an assumption by Denvik based off that Cal works alongside Saw, working with someone doesn't outright mean you're part of that organization Lewisr (talk) 03:58, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
The article in question literally is saying in the "Cal's crusade" portion the same thing. It be very odd that Denvik, a character that works in a intelligence agency and law enforcement, would "assume" that.JayAaerow (talk) 04:09, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
- Whoever added it could have easily thought the same, but ti still doesn't change the fact that working with someone doesn't by default mean you're part of that organization. Hondo worked alongside the Spectres several times in Rebels and he isn't part of that group, to provide an example of a similar case. It's a very easy thing for someone to assume if someone works alongside someone. I'd say unless Cal or something more neutral, like the game databanks, says he joined them, then we should hold off from adding it Lewisr (talk) 04:17, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
Cal's Age[]
Okay, so I admit I haven't been keeping up with Wookieepedia rules. Why exactly are we acknowledging Cameron Monaghan's statement about the character's age as canon? I thought Wookieepedia doesn't generally do that especially for Canon works? Is this a mistake? Kingsman28 (talk) 14:03, 17 May 2023 (UTC)
Focused Rage[]
There is nothing in Jedi Survivor to suggest that Cal Kestis's usage of the dark side in Jedi Survivor was focused rage. It appears to simply be the dark side amplifying his already powerful Force Slow abilities. Further more, there is no source or citations for the claims that Cal is using focused rage, and Focus raged page has no mention of an appearance in Jedi Survivor. For these reasons it has been suggested that it is removed from the article. —Unsigned comment by KainZeuxis (talk • contribs).
