The Forbidden Valley was a rocky valley located on the desert planet Pasaana not far from the Lurch Canyon. The Aki-Aki Festival of the Ancestors took place in the valley.[1] Thrill-seekers were drawn to the rugged terrain of the Forbidden Valley, while collectors of art and local crafts hunted for wares they could sell as exotic rarities offworld.[2]
After a mission to Pasaana in 21 ABY,[3] Lando Calrissian was taken with the humble nature of the native Aki-Aki people, and remained on the planet living as a hermit in the Forbidden Valley.[2]
