- "Shrines of Kooroo have been uncovered on several Outer Rim worlds, including Haffrin, Gelgelar, Branteez, Sufezz, and Boztrok."
- ―TriNebulon News report by Andor Javin
Branteez was a terrestrial world[3] located in the Branteez system, a part of the Outer Rim Territories' Tolonda sector.[1] At some point by the date 38:1:15, a Shrine of Kooroo,[3] one of a number of stone structures of mysterious origins found on several Outer Rim worlds,[4] had been uncovered on Branteez—a fact which the investigative reporter Andor Javin noted in a TriNebulon News report issued on that date.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
Branteez was mentioned in the "Galaxywide NewsNets" feature of West End Games' Star Wars Adventure Journal 13, which was published in May 1997. The feature was authored by Peter Schweighofer.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Branteez system, and therefore the world Branteez, in grid square Q-17.[2]
