Betty Butterfly is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is a Mobian butterfly and was once a resident of the Great Forest.
History[]
While flying through a meadow, Betty came across Sonic the Hedgehog as he was picking a bouquet of Poison Sumac Blossoms and saw him have a violently bad allergic reaction to them. She soon after went to Knothole after the defeat of Pseudo-Sonic and informed the Knothole Freedom Fighters of Sonic's condition which had left him in a vulnerable state. Once Sonic was safe, she left Knothole.[1]
She later made a brief appearance in a flashback to the event with Pseudo Sonic while Sonic was using one of Robotnik's inventions to see into the past.[2]
Personality[]
Betty is a nice, polite, and cautious person. She was shown to be very concerned about Sonic having a bad allergic reaction to the Poison Sumac Blossoms and rushed to his friends to get him some help.

By utilizing her wings, Betty is capable of wing-borne flight in midair.
