New page
changeI created this page: Murder of Will Sherod Cactus🌵 spiky ツ 03:59, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Cactusisme: I assume you want some comments on it? Here they are:
- Needs attribution
- Doesn't show notability
- The article is about the murder, not the person, so it doesn't need the death year category. It should, however, have some category for the year
- Would be good to specify that he was lynched (we have an article on that, so the word could be linked, and we have a category for it that could be added)
- Hope that helps. -- Auntof6 (talk) 05:17, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
- alright Cactus🌵 spiky ツ 05:30, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
- Done Cactus🌵 spiky ツ 07:28, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
- Moved the page as lynching was more appropriate Cactus🌵 spiky ツ 07:28, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Auntof6 Also created 2010 Nagorno-Karabakh clashes. Cactus🌵 spiky ツ 08:51, 23 January 2025 (UTC)

Flowing Wells Unified School District
changeHi, can you please explain the deletion of Flowing Wells Unified School District? The article about a middle school was deleted, not the article about the district. Tuscan Ant (talk) 20:27, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Tuscan Ant: I'm sorry, you're right. I have restored the page. -- Auntof6 (talk) 20:30, 24 January 2025 (UTC)

Category recreation request
changeHello! I just created Category:American bisexual people, is that okay (since you were the one who deleted it in 2013)? ⯎ Asteralee ⯎ 00:47, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Asteralee: That category was deleted as a result of Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2013/Category:Gay men by nationality. That RFD, although it was over 10 years ago, decided that we shouldn't subcategorize at this level. I think that because of that precedent, we need to discuss again before creating this kind of category. Please don't create any more like this, and I will start a new RFD to see if we want to change our collective mind. -- Auntof6 (talk) 03:28, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
deleting Black Joe's page
changeMay I know why the outcome of Black Joe's deletion discussion is 'delete'? 江马 (talk) 12:16, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
- @江马: After reading the arguments, I felt that deleting was the correct action. If you would like to have it reviewed, you can do so at WP:Deletion review. -- Auntof6 (talk) 14:34, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
- Is there anything else you could tell me other than '...felt...correct...' on why you did that? Do you think there has or has not been a 'consensus' based on 'policies' or 'guidelines' in the deletion discussion? I hoped you would answer. 江马 (talk) 08:41, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- @江马: Please don't take exception to my use of the word "felt". I read the arguments, and for me the arguments for deleting were stronger than the ones for keeping. I also looked at the article myself and didn't see anything that showed notability. Remember that establishing notability requires two things:
- A statement of something that makes the subject notable
- One or more reliable sources supporting that statement
- It's that first item that I think was missing. To give a simple example, if we had an article about a person and the only reference was about their birth date, that wouldn't show notability because being born on a certain day doesn't make anyone notable. It doesn't mean the person isn't notable, it just means that the article doesn't show it.
- Anyway, as I said above, if you want to contest the deletion, feel free to go to deletion review. -- Auntof6 (talk) 15:07, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for telling me what you think is missing! I am willing to change the writing accordingly. Please go to the deletion review discussion to see the sources I shall use. 江马 (talk) 07:10, 31 January 2025 (UTC)

Module rating
changeHi, you nominated Template:Template rating for deletion. Do the same reasons apply to Template:Module rating? 205.154.244.130 (talk) 00:54, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
- I think so. Feel free to nominate it for RFD. -- Auntof6 (talk) 11:24, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
- I won't nominate it myself, as I don't have any reason of my own for deletion. I just wanted to make you aware if you hadn't noticed it. 205.154.244.130 (talk) 01:12, 4 February 2025 (UTC)
Quick request
changeHi. I see that you are the only active admin at the moment, so I have a quick request: we have a vandal adding profanity, could you take care of him? Thank you. BZPN (talk) 11:36, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
- @BZPN: Blocked as bad user name. Otherwise I would have wanted to see more warnings first. -- Auntof6 (talk) 11:40, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
Request to Remove Deletion Tag for mohammed uzzal miah
changeDear Auntof6
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request the removal of the deletion tag on the article "mohammed uzzal miah" The deletion discussion has been closed, and the consensus was to keep the article.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I appreciate your help in maintaining the integrity of Wikipedia.
Best regards, Rukbv64bnn (talk) 21:05, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Rukbv64bnn: In addition, I saw your attempt to make it look like everyone wanted to keep the article and I reverted it. Do not try anything like that again.
- The discussion was not closed, but I will close it now by deleting the article, which is the actual consensus of the discussion. -- Auntof6 (talk) 22:33, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
- I'm sorry sir my mobile has ghost touching. I couldn't see anything on that time. Please forgive me. 🙏 Rukbv64bnn (talk) 22:36, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
