Flank Island er den sørlegaste av Myriad Islands, som ligg 2 nautiske mil aust-nordaust for Snag Rocks i Wilhelm Archipelago. Ho vart kartlagd av Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey frå flyfoto teken av Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd i 1956–57 og frå helikopteret på HMS «Protector» i mars 1958, og vart namngjeven av UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee på grunn av plasserniga.[1]
