Cognitio
Cognitio (a co(n)- + gnōscō, cognato verbi Graeci γιγνώσκω 'scio, percipio'; cf. γνῶσις 'cognitio, scientia') est copia omnium ingeniorum et rationum ad scientiam pertinentium, inter quas sunt attentio, memoria, et memoria fungens, iudicium et aestimatio, ratiocinatio et computatio, solutio quaestionum et decernere, comprehensio et lingua producta. Cognitio humana est conscia aut non conscia, concreta aut abstracta, atque intuitiva (sicut scientia linguae) et notionalis (sicut exemplar linguae). Rationes cognitivae scientia exstante ad novam scientiam generandam utuntur.
Rationes enodantur ex variis conspectibus animi intra varios contextus, insigniter in disciplinis linguistica, anaesthesia, neuroscientia, psychiatria, psychologia, educatione, philosophia, anthropologia, biologia, systemica, et scientia computatrali.[1] Hi et alii accessus ad cognitionem enodandam in scientia cognitiva componuntur, crescente disciplina academica gradatim liberata. Intra psychologiam et philosophiam, notio cognitionis ad notiones abstractas sicut mens et intelligentia arte pertinet. Quae functiones mentis, rationes mentis (cogitationes), et status entitatum intelligentium (homines, greges collaborativos, societates humanas, machinas valde autonomas, et intellegentias artificiosas) amplectitur.[2]
Ergo, usus huius vocabuli secundum disciplinam variat; exempli gratia, in psychologia et scientia cognitiva, vocabulum cognitio conspectum de ratione datorum psychologicarum singuli functionum usitate attingit. Adhibetur etiam in ramo psychologiae socialis qui cognitio socialis appellatur ad habitus, attributiones, et dynamicas gregum enodandas.[3] Cognitio in psychologia cognitiva et ingeniaria cognitiva, plerumque habetur ratio datorym in mente vel cerebro participis vel opificis.[4] Praeterea, cognitio quodam sensu certo et abstracto artificialis etiam haberi potest.[5]
Cognitio effectibus quoque et biochemicis et neurophysiologicis pendet: hormonta, ut erythropoietinum (EPO)[6], et actiones nervales, ut systematis excitantis reticularis ascendentis[7], profunde momentum graduum cognitionis habent. Pariter drogae et medicamenta status cognitionis commutare queant.
