Rashladna sredstva
Izgled
Rashladna sredstva su sredstva koja se nalaze u rashladnim uređajima, prolaze toplinski ciklus, a služe kao prijenosnici topline. Nekada se upotrebljavao amonijak, koji je zatim zamijenjen sredstvima na bazi klora, fluora i ugljikovodika. Danas se i ta stedstva sve više izbacuju iz upotrebe zbog štetnog utjecaja za okoliš i zamjenjuju se vrlo često prirodnim plinovima. Rashladna sredstva se označavaju R slovom i brojem koji točno određuje njihov kemijski sastav. U sljedećoj tablici su navedeni rashladni plinovi za koje je dana R oznaka (R znači rashladno sredstvo, a dolazi od engleskog Refrigirant), njihovo kemijsko ime i kemijska formula.
