What would a London quilt be without the vintage egg cup? I think the shape is just so pleasing.
It was just so much fun to look through my fabric and pick some cute fabrics for my egg cup collection.
The cups are block construction and the eggs are applique. They went together really fast. I am happy with my little egg cups.

So cute!! I like that the eggs are different shades, too. :)
Very cute!
Anytime I see egg cups at an antique shop, I buy them and use them for pincushions....love your idea!
your blocks made me smile this morning as I sit here barely awake at my computer! Thanks for a great start to my day!
Darling! You always use your fabric so perfectly!
They're adorable Nanette! I can remember when we were little, my grandma would give us eggs in egg cups -- I don't even know how to make them anymore like she did, but it was sure fun!
Oh I think they are darling and will look perfect on your quilt!
Blessings always
I would have never thought of making egg cups, but they are so sweet! I love them!
Oh they are darling. I said it before and will say it again, I would love to play with your fabric stash. You have such a great way with color.
My mother-in-law went to England many years (she was an avid genealogist and traced her routes to England) and brought me back two lovely egg coddlers. I have used them and then when my daughter got married, the design on them was almost identical to a curtain fabric that she had chosen for her kitchen so I gave them to her. You have the most fun fabrics in your projects!
Love your egg cups! My mind is telling me to NEVER get rid of ANY of my fabric! Even little pieces! This is the perfect way to use them up! Darling egg cups!!
Thanks for sharing!
Really great idea and so cute!
They are cute, Nanette, and that is one thing I've never had time for either. Maybe one of these days. Have to get some egg cups first. ;)
Very cute idea. I love soft boiled eggs.
I just love those egg cups!
