The Turali sacred treasures are ancient relics passed down through clans in Tural in Final Fantasy XIV. Each contains the essence of a powerful tural vidraal, granting its wielder great power to protect their homeland.

Sacred teasures[]

Cradle of the Sleepless[]

The Cradle of the Sleepless.

The Cradle of the Sleepless is a revered artifact from the remote village in the frigid northern reaches of Xak Tural. This mystical object houses the essence of a narwhal tural vidraal, that once swam through the icy depths without rest, vigilantly protecting its domain.

Same as narwhal, the cradle's power allows its wielder to transfer their fatigue to another person, granting the bearer unflagging vitality while lulling the recipient into a deep, irresistible slumber. This ability is intended to provide guardians of the village with the strength to maintain constant watch against threats.[1]

Dreamweave Cocoon[]

The Dreamweave Cocoon.

The Dreamweave Cocoon is the vessel in which the power of the swallowtail tural vidraal is sealed. Before its ascension, the swallowtail warded off potential predators by taking on the form of poisonous butterflies through its mimicry abilities. In this way, it survived until becoming a tural vidraal. It gained the ability to take on the form of any creature that crossed its path. Eventually, its power was sealed within the cocoon, and the bearer of the relic commands the same abilities.

The mimicry is not limited to physical forms; the user can also replicate the talents and abilities of their target—provided such actions are within their capability. This power was used by a village of Shetona in the forests of Xak Tural.[2]

Heartsting[]

Heartsting from FFXIV

The Heartsting.

The Heartsting is an ancient and revered treasure from the village of Xak Tural, containing the sealed soul of a dread scorpion known as the tural vidraal. This formidable creature once terrorized the region with its deadly array of toxins. To protect their people, the villagers managed to capture and imprison the scorpion's essence within the Heartsting, transforming it into a powerful relic. Over generations, the Heartsting was passed down and safeguarded, until it was stolen by the Passage of the Unbound, a group of thieves with malicious intent.

The Heartsting grants its wielder mastery over the scorpion’s lethal poisons, making it a highly dangerous artifact in the wrong hands. The simplest of these powers includes inflicting temporary blindness through a potent toxin, but more advanced users can paralyze or even incapacitate their victims entirely. The thieves who stole the Heartsting have quickly learned to wield these powers, causing a rise in strange incidents, such as the blinding and paralysis of unsuspecting victims in Limsa Lominsa. Without proper training, however, the full extent of the Heartsting's power remains elusive, and its potential for greater harm continues to grow.[3]

Perch of the Apex[]

Perch of the Apex from FFXIV

The Perch of the Apex.

The Perch of the Apex is a revered artifact that has been guarded by a Hhetsarro village for generations. Its origins are shrouded in mystery, with only fragmented legends and vague memories passed down through the ages. According to these tales, the Perch of the Apex was instrumental in driving out dangerous beasts from the forests of the village's homeland. It is said that the soul of a fierce owl tural vidraal, was sealed within the Perch after being driven to madness by its own wrath. The power of the Perch was so immense that, after bringing peace to the region, the village elders forbade its further use and enshrined it, allowing its true nature and capabilities to fade into myth over time.

The Perch of the Apex possess formidable powers linked to the soul of the tural vidraal. This power is manifest when the bearer senses danger, enabling it to lift and hurl nearby stones upon perceived threats.[4][5]

The Steelhog Vessel is the sacred treasure of a village in the southern region of Yok Tural, it contains the essence of an armadillo tural vidraal that lived to an extraordinary age due to its natural armor, eventually becoming known as the Lord of the Forest. At the end of its life, its soul was sealed within the Steelhog Vessel.

As a characteristic of the armadillo, the artifact grants the gift of impenetrable defense and triggers a powerful explosion when the barrier is dissipated. Since then, for generations, the Steelhog Vessel has offered protection to the village people, allowing them to hunt without fearing wild beasts or risking their lives.[6]
