Usage notes
[edit]

When used as sense 2, kwa- attaches to the noun without its augment. Hence kwamfundisi (at the reverend's house) rather than *komfundisi. When attached to pronouns, the pronouns take the possessive combining form when it exists (-ithu instead of -thi and so on).
