- rfv-sense: (adjective) Made of parquetry. (Added to the nomination later.)
The adjective shown here is a noun modifier, according to Oxford. The derived terms could be transferred to the noun, and the quotations too. Donnanz 11:58, 15 December 2013 (UTC)

Seems to me this is a rather fruitless discussion. Is "parquet" in "parquet floor" a noun-modifier or an adjective? On what grounds could you offer a definitive answer to that question? (And is it even a sensible question to ask?) Unless the parsimony that a noun-only definition would offer is the goal, maintaining the adjectival entry makes it clear that "parquet" can be used to modify a variety of nouns ("floor," "table," etc.). — This unsigned comment was added by 160.39.134.176 (talk) at 21:44, 25 July 2014., in diff
- Delete the adjective part including the citations and derived terms section, unless someone can convincingly argue that this is more than an attributive use of a noun; we do not indiscriminately document nouns that find attributive use as adjectives. I checked “parquet”, in OneLook Dictionary Search.. The adjective sense was added in diff. --Dan Polansky (talk) 07:05, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
