[edit]The cipher's invention was attributed by Gaspar Schott to Count Gronsfeld (Josse Maximilaan van Gronsveld né van Bronckhorst).

- A variant of the Vigenère cipher that uses only ten different cipher alphabets, corresponding to the digits 0 to 9.
