[edit]From Malay Akrab, from Classical Malay اقرب (Akrab), from Arabic عَقْرَب (ʕaqrab, “Scorpius”).

- (obsolete) Scorpius: a constellation of the zodiac, roughly shaped like a scorpion. Its brightest star is the red giant Antares.
