՟ • (.)
- Armenian abbreviation mark. It was placed on top of the part of the word to indicate that it was abbreviated. Called պատիվ (pativ) in Armenian.
- Not used in modern Armenian.
- The sign should be placed on top of a letter, but most current fonts do not do that: they show it following a letter, e.g. Ած՟ (Ac.).
- The most common abbreviations were:
- Ած՟ (Ac.) = Աստուած (Astuac)
- Այ՟ (Ay.) = Աստուածոյ (Astuacoy)
- յԱյ՟ (yAy.) = յԱստուածոյ (yAstuacoy)
- Ավ՟ (Av.) = Աստուածով (Astuacov)
- ամ՟ (am.) = ամենայն (amenayn)
- պտ՟ (pt.) = պատասխանի (patasxani)
- սբ՟ (sb.) = սուրբ (surb)
- -ութի՟ (-utʻi.) = -ութիւն (-utʻiwn), -ութե՟ (-utʻe.) = -ութեան (-utʻean), -ութէ՟ (-utʻē.) = -ութենէ (-utʻenē)
