Questions
- What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?
- I mainly wikify articles and have come 10th in a recent wikify event. I also posses rollback and fight vandals.I have recently made a good 40 stubs
- Have you been in editing disputes or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future? If you have never been in an editing dispute, explain how you would respond to one.
- Not many, but sometimes when I recieve warnings. I am still a newbie (unfortunently).Currently all my articles are stubs and at least 2 need to be upgraded to Start class.

I think you're a well-intentioned editor, and I'm happy you're around. There are a few points I'd like to give you, more advice than anything.
- The "warnings" that get you down so much don't need to be taken as such. I mean, you don't need to see them as warnings. We know you're a newbie, and newbies have to learn. Instead of warning you, they were placed there to let you know of various policies and guidelines that people thought you needed to know about. Everyone has to start learning when they first come here - and there are a lot of policies and guidelines and areas. The messages left to you aren't the sort of "bad" warnings, like we leave for vandals, they are reminders. Don't fret about them - read them, take in what they say, learn and be happy that you're a teeny bit wiser about guidelines than you were before. No one is going to judge you for them six months down the line.
- About adminship: wanting to be an admin is an admirable goal. But becoming an admin is definitely, definitely not the be all and end all of editing here. In fact, adminship is nothing more than a couple of extra buttons - and so much extra drama. Admins are useful, but you can be a highly regarded and admired editor without being an admin. I wouldn't make gaining adminship your main focus. There are a lot of other things you have to offer.
If you ever need advice or want to ask a question, feel free to leave me a message. OohBunnies! Leave a message 01:03, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

I won't doubt that Deathlaser (talk · message · contribs · global contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · user creation · block user · block log · count · total · logs · summary · email | lu · rfa · rfb · arb · rfc · lta · checkuser · spi · socks | rfar · rfc · rfcu · ssp | current rights · rights log (local) · rights log (global/meta) | rights · renames · blocks · protects · deletions · rollback · admin · logs | UHx · AfD · UtHx · UtE) is a good editor, but I've listed some points.
- Quick Learner; Deathlaser is a very quick learner with things. When I told him about errors in his mass stub creation, he stopped making them, and fixed his technique at creating them.
- Understanding; I know that Deathlaser is a quick learner, however calling this diff a mistake of mine was wrong — as it was a suggestion on what I should create.
- Following from OohBunnies!; I have to say that adminship is a very high goal, for a few more buttons, like OohBunnies! says.
- Don't take them things as warnings, they're not. They're more like notes to you regarding your editing.

Hey Deathlaser. Thought I'd drop through the list of editor reviews and you caught my eye. Can't say why. Anyway, it's great to see such an enthusiastic editor, we do have a lot of stuff that needs doing and editor with the time and energy are just too few and far between. I do have a few thoughts thought
- You say that one of your top areas that you work is vandalism patrol and new page patrol. I do wonder then why you've made so few edits to pages such as WP:AIV, WP:UAA and so on.
- Your work on Rock (geology) is good, indeed you're the top editor there! I find work like that much more valuable than creating stubs on creatures - more people look at it, and more people will get valuable information out of it. That's my personal opinion, but I'd much rather see quality articles on the encyclopedia than quantity.
- It's a shame what's happened recently over a few small mistakes and off wiki information. I haven't seen everything that happened, but you've only been here a little while so don't worry! I've known many editors who make mistakes when they start out and go on to be excellent editors. As long as you don't try to hide from your mistakes and learn from them, we're pretty good at forgiving and forgetting.
- Adminship, I think OohBunnies! has it right. Adminship is really not worth the paper it's printed on (and it's not printed on paper) and it certainly doesn't make you a better editor in any way, shape or form. If I were you, I'd forget about adminship for the time being, just concentrate on being a great editor for a year or so. Similarly with any other "hats" - if you need them, request them, but if you don't, don't grab em. People get rather funny over editors who have asked for too many, and I've never seen anyone look at an editor with more "hats" as superior. Check out my magic formula page for more thoughts on adminship.
All in all, I think you're doing a great job. Don't panic about making mistakes, it's the best way to learn. If you're stuck, as for help. If there's anything I can do, let me know. WormTT(talk) 10:43, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
