List of Divided Islands
[edit]Thanks for your contribution to List of divided islands. A few months ago, I was going to create this article myself, but was pleased to find it's already here, and with such attention to detail. I never knew there were others besides myself interested in this topic. Regards, Newyorkbrad 14:38, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
Thx! I'm a mature Law School student and all the Public International Law study (archipelagic states, continental shelf, etc.) revived my interest in world geography... :-) I have also written some stuff in time zones, especially European ones... Varlagas 14:46, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit]When making multiple edits in one session, please use either "Show preview" or "Show changes" (below the edit window) to review your edits. ICJ Opinion on Nuclear weapons
[edit]Hi,
Thanks for contributing to the above article - it's good to know I'm not trying to sort it out on my own. I have one question about your edits: you changed the name of the registrar, and I'm pretty sure it was correct in the first place (working from the actual ICJ documents) so I reverted the edit. I could be wrong, though, so it would be good to know where you got your information from.

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Minority-majority state, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Territory (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Demographics info
[edit]Hi there. I noticed you've been adding demographics data to GTA-related articles. Could you please attach the source you use when you add this info. If it's from Statistics Canada (as I assume it is), you can use the {{SCref}} template to simplify the process.
I've updated the article for King, Ontario to use the ref I had already added earlier this year. Use it as an example (the actual ref is the third one listed in the references section of the article at the time I edited it).

[edit] Please do not add or change content, as you did at Greek Canadians, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Dr. K. 02:13, 4 December 2017 (UTC)
I went through all entries as this for CMAs and likewise for provinces and computed detailed and correct tables. Better than having Quebec with 100.000 Greeks and no citations. That's OK - I don't mind - keep it at the previous sorry state instead. A "lacking citation" comment would be greatly appreciated rather than deleting all this work of mine. http://www12.statcan.gc.ca/census-recensement/2016/dp-pd/prof/details/page.cfm?Lang=E&Geo1=CMACA&Code1=535&Geo2=PR&Code2=01&Data=Count&SearchText=toronto&SearchType=Begins&SearchPR=01&B1=Ethnic%20origin&TABID=1 Panagiotis Varlagas
- Could you possibly add the link you just provided to your table? If not, I can help you. Dr. K. 02:23, 4 December 2017 (UTC)
Fixed it. Sorry, I spent a couple of hours working on this, and when it vanished for the lack of a straightforward citation I went crazy. Thank you for pushing it to put this editorial dispipline... :) Cheers - PV
- Thank you very much for your understanding and your great work. I have struck my message above, as it is not needed any longer. Best regards. Dr. K. 02:51, 4 December 2017 (UTC)

Note taken. Added Census page citation to ethnic origins data in London, Aurora, etc. Thanks for goading me to be tidy. A question though: you refer to my Montreal edit as “unencyclopedic”; what do you mean by that? Varlagas (talk) 14:56, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- "For the benefit of American readers" is unnecessary and unencyclopedic. Magnolia677 (talk) 16:01, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
