Hello, I'm DatGuy. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Idalion Tablet  with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Dat GuyTalkContribs 17:36, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Mycenaean Greece

[edit]

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Mycenaean Greece you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Jens Lallensack -- Jens Lallensack (talk) 08:20, 27 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I can expand the lede in the following 24h. I also believe the figurines section should be trimmed, while the existing part, as it is, can become a new seperate article. What's your opinion on that?Alexikoua (talk) 19:57, 30 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Section on figurines doesn't appear to need any trimming and I approve/appreciate your initiative on expanding the lead. Theban Halberd (talk) 21:06, 30 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Mycenaean Greece

I have to congratulate you for taking the initiative to nominate such a core article and finally succeding to promote this nearly 100k baby to Good standart. Hope I catch you again soon.Alexikoua (talk) 20:28, 4 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you both for helping. Theban Halberd (talk) 22:28, 5 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
As a fresh new upgraded article, I've nominanted it for the "Did You Know" section.Alexikoua (talk) 19:37, 8 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
That's great. In case you didn't see the message I left on your talkpage, would you be interested in discussing and resolving certain issues I've noticed in the Greeks entry that could potentially endanger its GA status? Theban Halberd (talk) 19:51, 8 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Greeks may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

DYK for Mycenaean Greece

[edit]

On 29 April 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Mycenaean Greece, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Mask of Agamemnon (pictured) is probably the most famous artifact from Mycenaean Greece (c. 1600–1100 BC)? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Mycenaean Greece. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Mycenaean Greece), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hello and some advice

[edit]

Hi there, first of all thank you for your excellent work at Greeks and other articles. You have made some needed changes and the articles are in much better shape as a result. Just a couple of things, however, to help you improve your experience on wikipedia. First, it is very helpful to other users, and reduces the chances of your edits being reverted, if you use an edit-summary to explain your edits. This is standard practice in wikipedia. Second, it would be better if you did not mark major edits as "minor", for example this edit [2]. While certainly a good edit, it is definitely not minor. Last, you may want to consider creating a user page (and you can just leave it blank if you don't want to say anything about yourself), so that your username does not appear in red letters. For a number of reasons, "redlinked" accounts are taken less seriously in the wikipedia community, and have a higher probability of having their edits reverted. Let me know if you have any questions, and happy editing. Athenean (talk) 07:48, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Byzantine Greeks, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tactica. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Explanation on Greeks

[edit]

Please explain how Greek people are indigenous to Italy? At the same time Greeks migrated to southern Italy, Greek colonies were heavily found in the southern France and some in southeastern Spain (both absent from your list). Those of Celtic origin settled northern Italy. Celts are not indigenous to Italy. Totally misleading information -- Galati
